Ferara Torrone Pie-Cut Candy, 4.41-Ounce

This is probably my favortie, at least among the ones I could find on Amazon. This one is the soft-ish variety, not the hard variety (which I also like). Love the flavor, tastes like real Italian Torrone (ok, I am not an expert, but I do eat a ton of this stuff).. Let me respond to a negative review posted here: the "weird" paper-like stuff at the bottom is a layer of food-grade (edible) wax, which is probably used when pouring the hot torrone into a holding drum, to prevent this sticky stuff of getting forever glued to the container,

if you can get past feeling like you might be eating a thin layer of paper on the bottom, it tastes really good. i love almonds and this treat does not skimp. i tried to scrape the very bottom off, thinking there really was the thinnest of paper that had sort of melted into the candy, but it wasn't possible. my tongue just really didn't enjoy that weird texture. although it tasted good overall, i wouldn't buy this particular candy again.

I just ordered this for the first time. The vanilla covering over the torrone has a very nice taste. I'd buy it again if that's the taste I want. I prefer chocolate covered torrone.

Bought this as a gift. It fits with a theme - the packaging makes a great presence in a gift basket.

One of my favorite nuggets. Could be a little more generous with the almonds but great snack with protein and nuts.

Totally addictive, full of toasted almonds, delicious vanilla flavor, not overpowering vanilla, highly recommend, just be aware once you open this candy it will be very difficult to ignore that wrapped remaining leftover piece....so buy at least 2.

We just love this size!!! my sister in law never ever tasted this type candy and now she wants me to order more, and of course I already have put in another order

It taste very good and it is not too hard, and yet not too soft; I really do not care for very soft torrone, a real torrone should be crunchy.
