Works great. Two TV's, one source, no issues.
I guess I can say that I am surprised that in this day and age there is not much more forethought in multiple TV's on the same set of sources. I have three setups and all three are different, but two share a common problem--- two TV's, two rooms, and one cable TV box and Blu-Ray player in one of the rooms. In this latest setup I decided to forego an external switcher between devices and let each TV handle two separate HDMI lines in as the TV's are in completely different rooms. I initially was going to run 25' each HDMI cables and then 1.5' or 3' cables behind the one TV... that didn't happen and I ended up buying a pair of 15-footers and F-F connectors locally to get the setup complete without waiting to finish it off. So that led me with 40' between the one TV and the sources, I was a bit concerned with the distance and the fact that I had to use a connector to put the two cables together. Not what I wanted, but it is what I had to do.So that leads me to this splitter, make that two of them. As I said, this setup was to allow the TV's to pick the sources, not a separate switcher like I have in my other setup. So after running the cables in the walls and ceiling (thankfully it was a drop ceiling) and adding on to make the final distance, all was set to hook up. I have a cable label maker, so I did mark both ends for the DVD and left the cable box without to make things easy to see. Once it was all hooked up and also setting up the BAFX IR blaster on the boxes as well, I fired up both TV's and the cable box--- not a single problem. Both TV's looked great and had no problem with HD and non-HD content.Very pleased with the size as it is a nice metal case and has a bit of weight to it and all of the connections are on one side. A family member now wants the same thing in a part of their house... of course I get elected to do it. At least I know it will be done right and with components I choose. Also both TV's are brand new. One is a 3D and the other is not. I just made sure that I used a proper HDMI cable and everything was spot on.

Reliable multiple simultaneous output splitter. Will be purchasing a 3rd larger unit soon.
I have purchased 2 j-tech splitters, the oldest in 2013. My use is having one input from my AV receiver (which handles selectable multiple inputs) to multiple TVs including one projector. I even have one HDMI cable go from a 4 port switch t the second floor, and then another j-tech splitter split it again. Works flawlessly, though on the Last long connection from one side of the second floor to the other, I needed one small in line Tripp Lite extender. I get exactly what I wanted. The ability to run multiple simultaneous outputs from a single source. Projector, bedroom, office, cardio room, basement, even an outdoor hot tub. I have no additonal ports available, but because of the excellent results I have received on the previous ones, and the fact my first purchase was n 2013, I will be purchasing their 8 port unit shortly. For me it has been an excellent product, does what I purchased it for, and has been reliable. That's why it is the only brand I looked for, when I had a need for a larger unit. Only advice I have, given not much difference in costs for more ports, is purchase a larger unit to start with. You never know when you'll want more expansion.

Great HDMI splitter....but CEC stopped working with this.
I got this for a project I was working on where I needed the signal to be sent to two sources simultaneously. For users who are looking for a device that will allow them to select which device they send the signal to keep looking, this is a signal splitter, not a switch. It send the signal to all connected HDMI devices at the same time. This is a great device. It powers itself off it you have all sources turned off and only turns on the ports in use. It's about the size of a deck of cards, maybe a little slimmer. One thing to keep in mind for placement is that all the ports are on the same side, at least on the 2 ports UHD 4K model I purchased so get cables long enough to compensate for the twists and turns you are going to have to perform in order for them to reach the other end.Overall there is no signal degradation that I can see. No problems with delays in games or with audio delays some very bad ones I have purchased have caused. My only reason for docking a star is because CEC stopped working despite the description saying it supported it. I get all the on screen displays from my receiver but not I have to turn on each component individually. I got around this by programming my remote with a macro to do this instead. My TV is an LG 47LV5400 and the receiver is a Onkyo HT-S3700 in case anyone knows of any solutions. I tried unplugging everything and starting from scratch to see if the CEC would work but every time I tried to run it I would get the "No Device Found" Without it, CEC works fine. Not a deal breaker but I am bummed I can't have my HT setup work like it used to. I will update the review if I find a solution, but overall, if CEC isn't that important to you it's a great purchase.Update: J-Tech Digital JTD0102/4K 9/1/2016 - So after nearly a month of trying to get this to work I finally had to return it. The problem was that it caused my the TV to flash with the source was the PS3. From what I read it could have been due to user cheap cables ( I have high quality cables, not Monster but definitely not cheapo, no-name ones) or that the receiver/splitter may not be able to handle the data rate. In order for others to understand my setup my HDMI devices are connected to an Onkyo HT-R393 receiver. From there I have an HDMI cable connected to the Output HDMI port to the splitter.I tried all sorts of troubleshooting to try to get the PS3 to work: Turned off Deep Color on the receiver, on the PS3, disabled all surround audio except for 2.0 on the PS3 audio options, connected an optical cable from the PS3 to the receiver, all to no avail. The TV screen would start flashing when the PS3 was the source. This did not happen on other devices, including the Xbox. If the PS3 was connected directly to the splitter or to the receiver the screen was fine.I got another splitter of a different brand and vendor and the problem was solved: no more screen flashing. It could have been a defective splitter or maybe the combination of the console and the receiver but buyers should keep this in mind if planning on using it through a receiver.
