Shooter's Bible Guide to Handloading: A Comprehensive Reference for Responsible and Reliable Reloading

There’s quite a bit in this book that makes it worth reading. While not a guide (in the strictest sense of the word), it does offer many insights into the craft of loading one’s own ammunition.Where it shines, though, is in it’s telling of the history of the bullet, brass, powder, and other components required in the homemade (and factory) production of ammunition. The author walks you through various innovations made over the years. Not only to tell the story of what was conceived but also Why.I found this book to be enjoyable to read with lots of valuable information that can be incorporated into my own reloading endeavors.

This was actually a very good addition to my reloaders library. It has a lot of good backgroundinformation as well as tricks that the author has put together to assist him at the reloading bench.This is not meant to answer every question, however. A newcomer will need a good reloadingmanual from one of the major powder or bullet manufacturers to accomplish that task. In fact, Iwould recommend that a newcomer purchase the manual at the same time as their equipmentand supplies in order to find bullet and powder combinations to match the caliber that they areinterested in.

This book should have been called something like "The History of Reloading". You could not read this and learn how to reload, it has a lot of background and history about reloading. I definitely would not call this a "must have" for reloading, unless you're interested in history. It's not something you'll reference again once you read it. It would have been better I think to have borrowed this once from the library to read rather than spend the money on it. Bottom line, it's ok, but I think "Guide to Handloading" is a misnomer. It's not.

Not quite what I was looking for but it does provide a good working knowledge of the mechanics of reloading but nothing to actually reload with.

This book is beneficial for those individuals that want to expand their knowledge on hand loading.

Book came in new looking. The book itself is a great starter read for someone just getting into reloading. Great gift for my 15 year old.

Wayne as always tells a good story, i found not a lot of informatiion on reloading systems or equipment to help my interest in the reloading process. Wayne as always tells a good yarn, an this was a good read, however i think he was shooting 8's in this book when 10, was within reach

awesome, very well written and easy to follow. Great for the reloading enthusiast.
