durable and functional wallet case for Note 5
I upgraded my phone to a note5 case and wanted to get a wallet case to keep my vital cards safe. My last few phone cases were great, but I noticed that the metal latches that kept them closed ended up affecting the ability of my s-note pen to work on my screen. Somehow the magnets of the old cases would cause a 'dead spot' on my screen. After researching this, I decided that I would find a wallet case that didn't have a metal clasp. I stumbled across this case and have been very pleased with it. The phone snaps into the rubber phone holder piece nicely, and all of the ports/holes around the phone line up well with the holes of the rubber. The case has two slots for cards, and can fit two cards in each slot without stretching it out too much. I haven't wanted to stuff it full of cards for fear of the material stretching out over time. I have also found that I can put a few dollars in the larger slot on the flap and the phone cover still closes flush with the phone screen. I am rather rough with my phone cases, and this phone case has held up well to my repetitive in and out of the pocket storage. I have also accidentally dropped my phone with this case on it and my phone has not received any scratches or broken screens. I was actually quite surprised; I thought for sure it would break, but it did not. I definitely plan on purchasing from this company again when I need another wallet case for a phone.

Best case I've ever bought
I love this case! The exterior is genuine leather in a rich, milk chocolate brown, smooth but not glossy. Because it's not slick, it doesn't slide out of my purse pocket or out of my hand. The part that holds my Samsung Note5 is a flexible, rubbery plastic that has to stretch a little to get the phone in. It covers all the way around and over the top edges, with cutouts for access to sound, charger port, headset port, and camera. The phone holder part is sewn into the case but on the outside just looks like a seam, scarcely noticeable. There are 3 card pockets, one with a cutout like the ones in wallets to hold ID. Also a pocket beneath that can hold paper money or business cards, but if you have credit cards in the slots, the money will be kind of hard to get out. The magnetic clasp keeps the wallet closed but opens very easily. If you drop it, the case may open but the rubbery phone holder still prevents damage. I have always used a wallet for my phone's but this is by far the best I've ever had. BTW, to hold the phone up to your ear to talk, the leather allows the slotted part to fold back to keep out of the way. Taking pictures is the only thing that takes some getting used to.

thick with great stitching. The magnet is strong and stays closed ...
This is a a high quality, very well constructed case. The leather is soft, thick with great stitching. The magnet is strong and stays closed but also opens easily to access your phone quickly. The inside keeps my phone secure and protects it from breaking when it's dropped. The case is so thick and well constructed that it is hard to turn backwards so you can talk on the phone. I have to flip it backward and hold it to create a crease. I have also put something heavy on top of it so it would be weighted down and break in. It would be nice for a seam to be sewn at the crease so it could open easily like there is in the very back. The opening for the camera is big enough and the speaker hole is a good size also. The inside slots for credit cards are snug enough that i'm not afraid that I will lose my cards out of it. Overall, this is the best wallet case i've had yet.

I bought this to help declutter and I'm glad I spent a little more for quality
I bought this to help declutter and I'm glad I spent a little more for quality. It fits tight like a manufactured part of the phone. Eight months of heavy use later it's still in good shape and tight on the phone. I was also drawn by the allure of retro leather. The thought of it brought me back to my childhood days, writing in a surface with my fingernail then wiping it away by rubbing the fibers back with a stroke of my hand.Since it is so tight and the cutaways for accessories are small, be careful plugging stuff in. Some USB cables and headphones plugs do not have the latest low profile design and will not fit flat. I can hardly get my license out. And I ruined the retro of the retro leather with hand lotion. It darkened and doesn't retro as well. If you store the clasp behind the phone using the keeper, it will cause a blackout area for the s-pen.

Not much protection, awkward grip
The internal case-- that part that actually protects your phone-- is very flimsy and doesn't come up above your phone screen enough to protect it. A bigger TPU piece with fuller coverage above the edge of the phone would greatly improve this product. The book cover "colors" don't have any sort of clasp, so if you drop your phone in this case, it will land open-faced and your phone will not be protected. I dropped mine a short distance onto a bamboo floor (not something brutal like concrete or blacktop) today and the tempered glass screen protector broke like crazy. I was surprised because my previous wallet case took many tumbles like a champ and I was expecting similar performance. Because the internal rubber case on this product is snug and soft, there isn't much much shock absorption and I actually think the tight fit creates more tension. The snug fit also makes the buttons very sensitive. (Although they don't last more than a couple of falls, I'd prefer an internal polycarbonate piece.) One more thing-- if your hands are small, think twice about this product. There isn't as much room in the card slots as you would think and the cover is awkward for small hands when using the phone. This is how I dropped mine.
