Wise Cheese Waffies, 5oz Bag - 8 Unit Pack

You cannot find Cheese Waffies anywhere. It used to be that mini-marts would carry them. Then only truck stops. Now the Internet was invented just to provide a portal to obtain a Cheese Waffie fix. I guess the PC food police have run Cheese Waffies off the shelves. The waffle shell is crunching and cheesy. You can pull them apart like an Oreo and eat them in parts. Or nibble them slowly. Lastly, you can be a glutton and eat them whole. Any way you eat a Cheese Waffie, you will get lots of salty cheese pleasure. Go ahead, splurge. Run that extra mile tomorrow. But when you are watching football or just home alone (they are not meant for sharing), lay back in that lounge chair and enjoy each incredible bite. Try them and see what a Cheese Waffie addiction really is all about.

delicious taste of the past days of my youth, if you like the taste of sharp cheddar cheese in a crunchy snack, you'll enjoy these too as they are very flavorfull and tasty, I wish they were once again available in stores, if so they would be a regular purchase for me and I would keep on constant supply on hand, as stated if you enjoy the taste of sharp cheese, you should try these, I believe you will love them as much as myself and many of my friends who have sampled them, the only problem is although it doesn't take long to receive them it's not exactly convenient to have to order them online so you'd best order two boxes because your supply won't last long

I grew up eating this delicious product in New York but can't find them here in Oklahoma. I placed an order for the Wise Cheese Waffies, 5oz bag - 8 Unit Pack and received them today. I placed the order on a Tuesday evening and received them a week later on a Tuesday morning using standard shipping. They were packed properly and were in perfect condition (not broken) and they were fresh and delicious...like I remember them. It was easy to order online and I had no problems at all from start to finish. I will definitely be ordering Wise Cheez Waffies again in the future!

My husband and I have loved this product for over 30 years. However over the last year and 4-5 purchases we have found a common thread. When we open the carton the 6 or 8 bags (depending on what we ordered) all have a freshness date of 3 -4 months in advance of that date. We have found that one bag is EXCELLENT in flavor and freshness. While other bags are almost dry and stale.We don't understand how 8 bags with all the same freshness dates could be so different?? We love these but don't understand this issue. The current box has a late February date and once again they are about 1/2 old or stale tasting. There IS a distinct difference that we both agree on. Can anyone explain that. We would buy these for years to come if they were ALL as good as 1/2 of the order, that tastes great and are fresh????

I had to buy these after seeing them featured on "Rewrapped" (a food show). Wise around here is a dollar store brand. Family Dollar and DG are the only places I've seen Wise, and had never seen or heard of the Cheez Waffies. I do like the Wise onion ring snacks better than the more popular brand. I tend to pick up a bag when I, rarely, go to a dollar store. So, expectations of the Cheez Waffies were high.I love the cheese flavor of these. They are pretty much what I expected. Not something I'd buy normally. That show has a way of making me want to try whatever item they feature. The waffles have a nice crunch, though there is a staleness to these - just slightly, but there. They are well within the exp date, though - December of this year. I also expected more cheese flavor in the waffles. Price was reasonable for a hard-to-find item, though I doubt we'll work through 8 sacks of these. May sell the remainder on eBay after we've had our way with them. Husband and I tire of snacks easily - never buy the same thing twice in a row.

I had been trying to find these for quite awhile, and I was so excited to find them here on Amazon. What a mistake....I was so disappointed to find that they are horribly stale!!! A bag doesn't normally last too long when they are fresh, but I can't even eat these. Save your money.

I loved Old London Waffle Snacks, and apparently Old London has sold the product line to Wise. These Wise Cheez Waffies are deliciously identical to the Old London product, and as these were a childhood favorite, I was delighted to find them here on Amazon.They have a very intense cheddar cheese flavor, like a boxed Mac and Cheese product... Some may be revolted, but I like it a lot. And the waffie crackers are just wonderful; light, crunchy, mmmmm-um!My 8 unit pack came nicely packaged and fully intact. No problems with shipping or delivery; product tastes fresh and delicious.

I was disappointed. At first I thought that they were stale, but the date showed to be good. The cheese in the middle tasted good, but the wafer was nothing like I remembered these tasting like. But I am also comparing these to the originals that may have been made by another company. These weren't good enough for me to order them again.
