This LED bulb is great product. It looks like real flame. It gives soft glow and aree around is lit with dim light just like real flame would do. I have post light in my backyard and with these LED bulbs it looks like those old world street gas post lights. I love it.

I bought these to replace my flame bulbs purchased through Amazon several years ago. We consistently receive compliments on our flame bulbs, since they're on our garage year-round and it's a great way to identify the house (just look for the garage that looks like it's on fire). I couldn't remember the brand so I browsed and found these.I was pleasantly surprised when I pulled these out of the box! I plugged one in and it worked immediately - looked exactly like it should. The second bulb was the same. I put the third one in the socket and the flame was coming from the top, not the bottom (I wasn't patient enough, it did switch after a while). I unscrewed it, shook it a little, then plugged it back into the socket. Surprisingly, the light was solid. I thought uh oh, I broke it. Unscrewed it, screwed it back in - back to flame mode. Did that a couple of times and I realized that it has different modes to it and that's how you switch them. Of course, if I'd read instructions, I probably could have figured that out earlier, but that might just be me...So far, so good. It's still early, but it looks like these lights will be a favorite for quite a while.

They're "ok"....But they do not display as depicted. They are not very bright AT ALL, and you're not going to like using them for outdoor usage, as there is no light whatsoever and really pose more of a security risk imo.Not worth the money/price for their use. I bought 4 and I should have waited to see how the first pack panned out.Now if you want to use these for more of a dimmed affect for ambience inside, like at a kitchen table for quiet dinner dates and such, these will do. But they aren't as savvy as shown. Even those these are LED, I cannot say how long they'll last. Buy at your own risk.

I purchased these flame simulator bulb to enhance the lighting fixture on my pouch. When activated it displays a bright orange like flame light that illuminates the whole pouch entrance making it safe for all visitors and guests.

The bulb itself doesn't look like a flame on its own but in a lamp shade (or porch lamp in my case) it looks pretty real and the light it throws is very convincingly fire-like. Love that it works mounted upside down as well. Not super bright but obviously this is a novelty item meant to be used for the effect, not to light an area. Good quality, can't wait to use it again next Halloween. Might even get a cute lamp to use them at Christmas.

These were purchased for Halloween decorating. They produce a very convincing glowing flame effect that looks great in lanterns. The brightness is just enough to feel like a small flame. The pattern of the flame will automatically switch depending on if you have an under or over mount light bulb socket. Overall, great decorations, and they have held up well over 2 years now!
