The Perfect Balance Between Comfort and Lightweight
I wish I could be exaggerating with the title, but this mouse is absolutely incredible. I've tried every popular gaming/office mouse under the sun and my by far favorite has been the Logitech G502. However, I was recently introduced to lightweight mice and the Logitech G PRO Superlight had gotten my attention for a bit. However, I always had to swap between these as the superlight was ultimately uncomfortable and had poor skates. The G502 has always been the most comfortable, but its too heavy for quick-flick gaming. Here comes the ROCCAT Kone Pro Air. At only $30 on black friday, I didn't think too much of this mouse initially. Once I received it, I was hooked. There was no "break in" period, it just worked. It was amazing, I still cannot believe a mouse this comfortable and lightweight existed, I thought it was impossible. The build quality is absolutely phenomenal too. I don't think there is any mouse on the market that can beat this level of comfort + lightweight form factor. One issue however, like many reviews have mentioned, is the software. It's dog water. Let me tell you how to get it working though:1. Set the mouse setting to the center option, non-bluetooth or receiver mode. Plug it in via usb cable2. Download the software, its called Roccat Swarm.3. Plug in the receiver as well and update the firmware of the mouse. It might bug out so make sure the USB cable is plugged in first, THEN plug in the wireless transmitter.4. Once updated, then you can change your DPI. The way I did this is by making sure "auto apply" was selected. This is a slow process. The software is SLOW to update. There are 5 DPI options, uncheck them all except #3, that's the one it used for me. If not, just set them all to the DPI you want, such as 1600.5. Save settings. That's really it!This mouse is END GAME. If you're trying to find the balance between comfort and lightweight, this is it.

Great mouse and even better customer service.
After about two months of use I began to have issues with the scroll wheel of the mouse. After several attempts to troubleshoot the problem I had no luck and finally reach out to the Roccat and after explaining my issues and troubleshooting they determined it was a hardware issue and have issued me a replacement. The response was quick. Up until that point the mouse worked flawlessly and I have no complaints.

Great mouse with scroll wheel defects
I wish I could give this mouse a good review. I have another wired roccat cone mouse and was excited to get this one so I could use it on the go. The shape of the mouse is great, feels good in the hand, the battery life seems decent. The major flaw is the scroll wheel. I had my first mouse for a few months and everything was great. Then the scroll wheel started jumping around during use, getting worse over time. Eventually when scrolling in one direction on a page, it would just scroll up and down not knowing which way to go. I contacted support and it was eventually determined to be a hardware issue.. No problem, they replaced it with a new one. But a few months later now and my replacement mouse is developing the same exact issue and continues to get worse. I'd love to get another replacement, but it seems this is a design defect and the scroll wheel will die no matter what if I use it full time.Fix the scroll wheel and its a great product, otherwise I may have to throw it away and give up on it. :(

Best wireless gaming mouse.
By far the best wireless gaming mouse I've used. It's light weight, feels great in my hands, performs exceptionally wirelessly, has a long battery life, has some cool looking RGB, and doesn't have a bad looking logo on it. The only thing that would make this mouse better is if it supported wireless charging, but given how long the battery life is, plugging it over night isn't that big of a deal. The included cable definitely is super flexible, but it looks a bit weird if you're into the aesthetics of your cables. I ended up getting a much shorter braided cable anyway. The charging port is so recessed into the mouse that it makes using magnetic cables not really an option either. I like how the profile switching button is on the bottom too. I've never needed to switch profiles on the fly like that so I like it being out of the way. The software is fine for my needs. I did disable the RGB mainly because they don't have a reactive RGB setting (turns on when you click), which is my preference.

Too Good
Ergonomics are Excellent: Thumb Shelf, Big Side ButtonsBest Scroll Wheel Ever: tactile scroll with perfect resistance, great texture, flat face (is way better than rounded)Fast Optical Switches with Great Clicks. I run with 0-debounce, and never get false double-clicks. (After a couple years of use, a slight rattle developed in one of my switch assemblies.) Forget jitter-clicking, which is probably just for kids cheating anyway. Yes kids, faking extra clicks with low debounce on non-optical switches is cheating.OK Software: The software install is relatively small, especially compared to Logitech or Viper. The software features are not-quite bug- and funk-free, but it works well enough.Best feature: Easy to run the LEDs off.Other best feature: Price, especially compared to over-priced alternatives.

Nice shape and weight, horrible quality issues...
I like the feel of the mouse a lot, but the first one I ordered worked well for about a week until the scroll wheel started malfunctioning (scrolling the wrong way, skipping, not responding at all sometimes).I returned it for a new one and the second unit sometimes double clicks when you single click. It also will release click while you are holding it which is super annoying. Between these two issues it may be the worst gaming mouse I have ever used, at any price point. And for $130? If I got one bad unit that would be understandable but two in a row seems a little bit ridiculous. I'm going to return it again and just use my G305 that costed less than half as much. Its a shame because I like the shape of the Kone better, but at least my last mouse actually performed the basic functions of a mouse well...
