Defective out of the box
I was really looking forward to this pedal, but imagine my surprise when it would not do anything to the sound when switched on. The LED lights up like it should, and the volume knob works, but the vibe sounds are not there; it was simply passing the clean signal. I opened the box to see if maybe the dip switches could be the problem, but no, it was set to "vintage" like the instruction says it should. Switching them to "modern" seemed to make a very light vibe sound come through. And then I looked at the wiring and noticed that the output jack has no ground wire attached to it. In fact, there's no evidence that there was even an attempt to install one. I'm not an electrical engineer, but I suspect this is not intentional. Just to make sure, I tried calling the phone number for Sweet Sound on the instruction sheet, but the number was disconnected! That was the last straw; I returned the pedal, and am going to try the Aquavibe.

Three Stars
Sounds good! Very bad placement of input and output jacks if you use right angle plugs

Favorite Vibe Pedal !!
My favorite vibe....True story: I have owned the following vibes at one point or another; voodoo lab micro vibe, mxr uni-vibe, lovepedal pickle vibe, old school dunlop uni-vibe, danelectro chicken salad, danelectro cool cat, mjm sixties vibe, fulltone deja vibe, bbe soul vibe, moen shaky jimi, sweet sound mojo vibe. The sweet sound mojo vibe is my favorite of the bunch… pickle vibe is my second favorite, I know it doesn't use real photocells but I don't care it sounds great and is very musical, its also really small and takes up very little space. The micro vibe I would rate my third favorite.. sounds great, dark and soulful, some people really like to knock the micro vibe but I'm a fan. If your new to vibes and don't want to spend a lot of money I would say go with the micro or the pickle… If you want a top notch vibe and money is no object go with the sweet sound mojo vibe.. I liked the mojo better than the mjm sixties vibe and the deja vibe… I'm not saying all the others vibes are bad because they aren't. I don't like knocking pedals because sound is subjective. I'm just sharing my personal preferences. Another trick I learned to save money on a vibe: Buy Used!

JIMI in a box! The Mojo Vibe! #1 vibe pedal in the world.
This is the lead players uni vibe pedal! This is one of the best Clones out there. It does have that magical Jimi Trower tone. This one really enhances your vibrato technic and I keep thinking magical swishyness. Is that word? yes! Trust me and buy this pedal! you can always return it if you don't like it. (YOU WILL)
