What should be displayed when i choose the min setting? nothing seems to happen. doesn't show the min wind speed or the min temperature.

It is easier to explain MAX. If you press the MAX/MIN button once, it will display the greatest reading it measures. If the wind speed drops below the highest value measured to that point in time, the reading does not change. If the wind speed exceeds the value on the display the speed will change (increase). The MIN works in the same way. Except that it shows the lowest speed measured. So if you set it to MIN when the reading is zero, the reading will not change. Thanks for the question. Is it easy to use? No time for a manual in a storm.

It is easy to use. Turn it on, make 2 settings, go outside and measure the wind. We can have 40 to 50 mph gusts with no storm. Set the speed unit of measure, press max/min and go. It will display the highest speed and hold it.

How fast does it respond to slight changes in wind speed?

There is some inertia in the fan wheel. It take 3 to 5 seconds to make a major change.

What is the accuracy of the altitude measurement?

altitude from 0-19685 Ft. Resolution: 0.2 mph, 0.2℉,0.1% RH.

The app is kind of a pain to connect to your phone. The instructions aren't very comprehensive. The blades are incredibly fragile. This fell from about 18" to the cement, and a fin broke off. I was able to super glue it back together, and it works fine. It gets pretty loud when you measure wind above 20 mph. The app lags a bit. It's alright for the price, but if you're looking for something more durable, keep looking.
