I was given a quote from the shop to replace this part to hold up my hood for a 2005 BMW. No way I was going to pay the price they wanted. i looked on Amazon and found this. It was so easy to replace I was shocked the auto shop wanted to charge me so much. This was inexpensive and so simple to replace. it took me about 5 minutes for the first one. i then realized, it was of such quality that i didn't even need to replace the second one. Very good quality at a very good price. I highly recommend this product so you can fix this problem yourself.

These supports do the job. BMW 750 has a heavy hood and the get the job done of lifting and holding the hood up. Good purchase

these hood struts did the trick I don't have the money for oem parts right now and these worked perfectly all you need is a tiny flat head screwdriver to remove the original struts and then you literally pop these in place

Slides out of the ball bearing sometimes when you open the hood but not a big deal as the hood isnt opened every day lol
