Returned it.
Blue tooth didn't work. Looks nice- but TINY! It can fit a couple of computers and perhaps a fresh shirt. I can see this working well for a tech person for a daily office carrier or a one day meeting.I returned it.

good bag full of features
Bluesmart is one of the first, if not first, smart luggage pieces. So it's had some time to mature. There are things about this bag that I love and things about it that confuse me. So to start with the good stuff. It has a very nice overall build quality and it's just a good looking bag overall (I like this Black edition over the original Bluesmart). The hard portion of the bag is Makrolon, which is sturdy and light. The top portion is a nice dark grey/black fabric that gives the bag a little give/flex for the overpackers (this is good and bad, see below). The handle rises to a nice height. The wheels are amazing. This bag rolls better than any other roller I've had of any size. The app integration is pretty good, with nice options for reminders and stuff. It's nice you can check the weight, lock it, track/locate it, etc all in the app. It's can pack a good amount of stuff if you are strategic (more on this below too). The battery pack and charger peripherals don't take up too much space either. So the not so good. The app takes a few seconds to sync with the bag, so you can't just open the app and immediately unlock the bag. Also sometimes the app and bag weren't in proper sync. So I'd have the bag autolock when away from the phone, but when I went to unlock in app, it wouldn't until I would (unsuccessfully) unlock it, lock it, then unlock it to access the bag. Also, while I like the overall look/design of the bag, I think the asymmetric zipper is problematic. It makes the zipper less than smooth to open and close. One other thing about the zipper with regard to the TSA compliant lock. The lock is part of the fabric front that houses some document/computer/tablet pockets. But it doesn't have a place to lock in the zipper pulls. So when locked, the zipper pulls are technically covered by the flap of the front pockets, you can easily fish it out with your finger and basically open the bag. The wheel wells and the telescoping handle frame take up a great deal of room in the bag itself. This is the case for most rollers, but it felt like a lot of space was wasted as a result, moreso than in other bags. The last thing is the bag has a few zippered compartments etc. but given that it's a carry-on and the some space is taken by the structure (i.e., wheel well, handles, battery), I think having fewer organizational compartments would help create a better packing space. But overall, I like this bag a lot as a carry on and wouldn't have a problem recommending it to someone who was looking for a smart carry-on, or a basic carry on in general.

Slick, modern, durable piece of luggage. Awesome purchase.
The Bluesmart Black Edition is a slick, smooth piece of luggage. Very happy with the purchase. Here's a quick review of all its features.Charger on the go: This is a game changer. I sometimes travel during busy airport times, when it's impossible to find an open charging station. Being able to charge your devices on the go is a huge plus.Auto-lock: I like this feature as well. When synced to the Bluesmart app on your phone, you can set it so that the luggage automatically locks when it's separated from you. I like that you can also unlock with your phone, in case you misplace the key. And it's nice to know the lock is TSA approved so that they won't destroy your luggage if they for some odd reason need to open up your bag.GPS Locator: As someone who has gotten luggage lost by airlines a good amount of times, this is a nice feature to have. I love having the piece of mind of knowing where in the world my luggage is when airlines usually have no idea.Size: The Bluesmart Black Edition is compact. It's not the most spacious carry-on, but it serves my needs, since I tend to travel lightly. I made the upgrade from a nice Tumi that was more spacious, but at times too big for some overhead compartments in smaller planes. The Black Edition fits nicely in just about any overhead compartment that I've tried, even in smaller planes.Self-weighing feature: This is a feature that needs some work. I don't often take flights that weigh the carry-ons, but I have before, and will in the future, so this feature may prove handy at some point. The only thing is that it's difficult to operate the self-weighing feature. You have to perfectly lift the luggage by the handle straight up. When it's full, it's hard to lift leveled straight up. And if you let the handle bend either way, the weight can fluctuate by a few pounds, so it's hard to trust that you're seeing the correct weight. Thankfully I don't see myself using this feature often, so I don't think it's going to be an issue for me.Inside: It has tons of small pockets and compartments, which I love, all very smooth. It just looks and feels nice.Outside: hard shell, feels strong and durable. Very slick design, love how it looks.Handle: The handle does wobble a tiny bit, I wish it would have a bit more of a sturdy feel, but this is minor.Wheels: Wheels are quite, durable and smooth. They also turn 360 degrees, and you can push it like most modern pieces of luggage these days.Price: at $599, the price tag is steep, but this is a high-quality product, and I'm sure I'll be using it quite a bit for a few years.Overall, this is a fantastic piece of luggage that will be my travel buddy for many years to come. I'm really happy with the purchase.

Two Stars
poor quality item

Average at Best...
Pros: beautiful design, wheel rotations make it easy to maneuverCons: quite small inside, app is weak, and not having a handle on the side makes it difficult to place in overhead (as a female that packs heavy!)

EXTREMELY POOR ZIPPER & OVERALL QUALITY
My experience with this product, indicated that it has material quality problems, especially with respect to the main zipper. Per the included pictures, the product is poorly made, & my experience with the Customer Service Organization ihas been “delay & then completely evade responsibility & accountability”.I am writing this review only after trying to work with their Customer Service organization, via both telephone calls, emails, & promises of a “replacement having been shipped”, for over 6 MONTHS, with no results!!

Very Nice Smart Suitcase
This is a very nice piece of luggage. It is loaded with features that I have not experienced before. I have used it for two trips. On one, I did have an issue because the TSA folks at the security checkpoint had not seen anything like it before and had a lot of question (eventually, everything was alright and I made my plane). The other issue I have is that there really is not as much space as a similarly sized non-smart suitcase since all of these features require space. I will say that this rolls better than any spinner I have ever used. However, it is unlikely to become my "go to" because of the limited space. I need to pack the maximum amount of stuff possible in a carry-on.

Love the features, hate the stigma
Got stopped in security at Cardiff airport. They took everything out of the bag and it still flagged in X-Ray. They then swabbed the bag and it set off the chemical checker three times. I got patted down and my passport taken from me to put in the logs. They finally let me through after I offered for them to rip the battery out, and explained it's got a battery pack built in.They warned me that this would happen every time if I try and use this case in future. Not a pleasant experience!
