I thought I was buying a sheer nail polish. It is not. The colour is like bubblegum. Nice but it takes 3 coats. It goes on really streaky. Also the brush is very wide and it is hard to paint within the lines. Lasted 4 days. Did not chip but came away from the cuticles. A lot of money for what it does. I would have thought better of Essie. I am editing this because my second experience was worse Four coats and still streaky and blotchy. The brush is part of the problem. I threw this product into the garbage. Don not waste your money

The only reason I am giving this two stars instead of one is because the reason I bought this is that I have badly damaged nails that are tender and I don't know yet if the product is good for strengthening. Because my nails are uncomfortable I decided to try using this even though I saw the color was wrong right away because I didn't want to wait a few more days to get a new one and refund this one. I chose the Blush color because I wanted it to be nearly nude with just a little pink tint to it and that is what it looked like in the color circle image and the how it looks on different skin tones image. However, the reality is that this is almost white and streaky like when we were kids and would paint our nails with white out. It is so ugly I will need to do a top layer of normal paint which I didn't want to do. Update: It is now hours later, I did two layers of this nail strengthener and one layer of regular nail polish and they were fully dry. But when I was using a warm wet washcloth to clean up the edges and cuticles where I got paint on my skin multiple fingers had sections just peeled right off down to my nail - so this strengthener didn't even stick to my nails properly.

I purchased this product in the colour, "In a Blush" based off a co-worker's recommendation who raved about its pigmentation. I've had a love-hate relationship with essie polishes in the past. I love the colour selection and overall quality of the brand, but I often found results to be hit-or-miss due to inconsistent brush cuts and/or sheer colours separating upon application. But, because I got to see how it wore on someone else beforehand, I decided to go for it. Overall, I was impressed with the opacity, given how light the colour was; it took 2-3 coats depending on the nail. I did find that it dried slightly matte(?) and so I put a top coat over it. The brush on this particular colour was great; it was wide enough to provide even coverage. I'm not the best nail painter, so having a good brush on my polishes saves me from a messy paint job. The polish lasted on my nails for about a week with minimal chipping. After a week, I removed the colour to see whether or not the strengthening claims were true. I don't have the most brittle/weak nails, so I personally didn't find that this did anything to improve the condition of my nails. essie TLC in "In a Blush" surprised me and I enjoyed it more than I expected; I'm going to keep this in my summer polish rotation. I don't know if I'd recommend the overall line to someone who doesn't necessarily have weak nails just because I don't know if those claims actually add any value for you. But, if you're someone who's trying to find a polish that could improve nail health or just a nail enthusiast, I'd give this product a shot.

This review is for the color "In A Blush". I wanted to like this Essie polish after having such wonderful results with the Tonal Taupe color that is also a Treat Love & Color polish. However, I did not. Even after allowing this color to dry between coats, after 4 coats of polish I was left with uneven color distribution. I found it to be too watery. I love the color which is very close to cream. I may use it as an under coat for other Essie polishes but I'm disappointed it is not the success story that Tonal Taupe has been for me.

J'ai eu la chance de recevoir en cadeau et tester le vernis Treat, Love & Color d'essie dans la teinte "In a blush", un vernis crème opaque dans les teintes de blanc/beige. J'applique habituellement une couche de base et de finition avec mes vernis à ongles, alors j'étais sceptique quand à la tenue de ce produit qui n'en nécessite pas. J'ai appliqué 4 minces couches pour obtenir l'opacité désirée. Le pinceau laisse un peu à désirer mais j'ai réussi à obtenir le résultat souhaité. J'ai été étonnée de voir que la tenue est excellente, après 6 jours le vernis étant encore super beau avec quelques écaillements mineurs. Lorsque j'ai retiré le vernis après 7 jours, j'ai vu que mes ongles étaient forts et hydratés et qu'ils n'avaient pas cassé durant le port du vernis. Il faudrait voir si au cours des utilisations, mes ongles sont visiblement plus en santé. Seul le temps le dira! À suivre :)
