Logitech Hinge Case for Ipad Air, BlackCarbon Neutral Certified by SCS Global Services

It took me a while to gather all iPads’ specs and confirm the 2018 iPad has the same dimensions and configuration as the iPad Air (but not Air 2.) Since Logitech does not offer one for the new iPad and has not revised its product description of this model, I would just like to share this information. I bought a Hinge case for my wife 3 years ago and was convinced that it has probably the best quality and functionality in this price price. The only complaint is the added weight of this case, but it is still acceptable.

I was looking for a new cover for my Ipad Air. I wanted something that would look nice, offer some good protection and also be fairly minimalist in design.I saw this cover, in mars red and I thought this was perfect. Once I received the cover, I think it does meet my needs pretty closely but it isn't quite perfect. The cover itself does offer good protection. The Ipad is encased by the plastic cover with three attachment points. On the outward side, there are attachment points on the top right and top left. On the inner side, there is a attachment point in the middle. This is certainly minimalist in design. The cover has good margins around it so if you were to drop it on the ground, the cover will likely protect the Ipad.Now, the color is pretty nice, playful and it isn't really red as much as a mixture between red and orange. The cover received did not have the blue interior but it was actually grey. The tactile feel is nice with a meshy, canvas like feel which is not slippery at all. The cover bends around and you hold it like a book cover. There is a little white Logitech tag that could be used to hold a stylus perhaps, though I do not use it for that purpose.After a month, there is little evidence of wear, and I did clean a spot with water.Overall, this is a nice cover for the criteria I mentioned above.

I like this case because it has a fixed hinge and stays put at the angle you want it at. This camera opening on this case does not line up with the iPad Air 2 camera. I didn't notice it until I had the case for a few weeks. Not sure if this was a defective case or not. The original Logitech case I had was almost $50. Makes me wonder if these aren't defective because they do cost a lot less.

I love this case. It is slim, yet very durable. I love the magnets/sleep feature. It seems to work much better than other cases I have used. I had this case for about a year, and it unfortunately broke after a very hard drop against concrete. Fortunately, there was not a scratch on my iPad. I thought i was try another brand to see if I liked another case better. I went through 4 different, similar folio style cases, and none of them were as good as this. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the grippy sticker thing on the bottom peels off after a few months, but for the price, I will just keep ordering a new one if/when that happens

This is a really great product. I like that you can close it for protection and then to open it serves as a stand.There are some down sides tho. The outside is a canvas material (the inside is smooth) which looks nice and good quality but it's not easy to clean. The other thing I don’t like is that when open it’s hard to fold back the case. You can fold it back, but it feels like it’s not meant to be folded that way. Also, there is no way to open it and stand it long ways. We have a magazine app that only shows the magazines in portrait and it’s weird to stand the ipad up that way with this case.Overall it’s a great case and a good value.

The Logitech Hinge case for iPad Air fits great for the 2017 5th Generation (9.7 inch) iPad! Specification-wise, the iPad 5th Generation is the same thinness/weight as the original iPad Air, so the device fits just right; just follow the directions for inserting the device into the case and you'll feel confident that the iPad won't fall out. Slight variations: the hole for the back microphone doesn't extend far enough; however, there is a microphone notch on the top center; also, the volume hole is longer due to no mute/rotation lock switch; in addition, the camera hole is slightly off center, but there is no interference with photos/videos.

I am highly disappointed in the quality of this product because I thought I finally found a non leather/pleather, fabric or cheap plastic cover. The word "carbon black" gave me the impression that it would be a sturdy hard plastic type of material, I could not have been more wrong. The cover only gives the ILLUSION of something that would appear as carbon black or is that just the color's name? I'm not sure, but l have two dogs and I babysit my sister's dog very often and DO NOT get this cover if you have any pets because this cover gets very dusty and collects dog hair... and will collect any other furry animal fur. I thought there was actually something that holds the cover together but that was my mistake. There is a very weak magnetic hold on the cover that keeps it lightly connected to the top surface of the ipad air.

If someone is looking for a plain looking case for a great price, look no further. I’ve had a Logitech Anyangle case before this one for my old iPad mini 2 and I LOVED it. This one, however, just isn’t quite the quality of the one I used to have. I really wish Logitech made Anyangle cases (not the hinge back) for the IPad 2018 9.7 inch model. I’m slightly disappointed with my purchase but plan to keep it because the price was so low.

Placed the order on June 23, 2016 and yet to receive the product. Pathetic service and very unprofessional customer care service. They are only making false assurance that it will arrive but no information is received. Every time the same excuse is given that the product is stuck with customs.

Fits iPad 5th gen, 6th gen and 9.27. Sturdy! And can be put at any angle. I purchased because i hated the case I had and my husband had the Logitech case and loved it. It's so sturdy that, when he dropped it on our hardwood floor, it took a chunk out of the wood, but iPad - not a scratch, crack..... fully protected it.
