The Shootsac accessory item has been TOPS on everyone's wish list for months now. We looked high and low for a Shoulder Pad that actually did the job and... looked good doing it. Turns out that THIS was a very tall order. WE wanted a sleek shoulder pad that was comfortable for narrow shoulders as well as broad ones. We wanted a shoulder pad that would stay put when you pull the Shootsac around to the front to retrieve a lens or push it behind your back for an active shooting session. We wanted increased comfort without loads of bulk. This was a classic example of function dictating style. Eventually we realized that we weren't going to find what we wanted... so we designed our very own to perfectly complement your SHOOTSAC LENS BAG. I sent Jessica Claire the first functional prototype. She gave it rave reviews and started getting us in trouble with Shootsac owners almost immediately. The Prototype Shoulder pad accidentally made an appearance on Beckersblog.com.

Great way to carry your lenses and other stuff
I am an amateur photographer and this is a great flexible bag for carrying those extra lenses and other tools. It is neopreme so it expands to the lens width. The only thing it is missing is a little pocket for very small items.

Must have for a Shootsac owner
I've had my shootsac for quite some time now and I wish I would have ordered one of these sooner. The shoulder pad helps take off so much of the weight and makes it much easier to work instead of thinking about my shoulder pain. Great buy

A necessity (should come with the bag)
It's pretty ridiculous that you have to buy this separately, especially considering how uncomfortable it would be to use without it. Yes, you should buy it - it's squishy and eases the burden on your shoulder. But really? Another reviewer said of the shootsac that it nickel and dimes you to death, and I agree. For the price you pay for the bag, this should come standard.

as a shoulder strap it is adequate. but get a different bag. there is not enough added value in exchange for what you pay
