Leviton 15 Amp Decora LED Illuminated Light Wall Switch 3-Way, White, L5613-2W

Nice switch, easy to install, location light is not too bright and is a nice color. Gives off just enough light to easily locate the switch at night. I have purchased a few of these now and they all work great.

Very easy to install, if you are DIY'er, I would suggest watching some youtube videos on installation, since the instructions for this light switch are printed on the inside of the box with small lettering and not easy to read.I do like the illuminated light switch - it's easy to find at night. I don't think it is bright enough to disturb your sleep. I installed this in my kitchen, and one in the hallway.

Look in just about any American home today and chances are the switches and electrical receptacles are made by Leviton. The company has decades of experience in the industry and their products just work and keep working for ages.I started off swapping out the switches in my home to add illuminated switches as a convenience: it’s easy to find a light switch in the dark when the switch is glowing. This almost should be a requirement for all homes, but whatever.The first few switches I installed were cheap, generic switches with a distinctly Asian/Chinese brand name. They worked, but they had an amber glow, and they used a gas tube to generate the light and this had a tendency to flicker.I grabbed one of the Leviton LED switches at a big box store when I needed a 3-way lighted switch, and once I saw the pure white light on these and the nice glow around the button, I couldn’t go back to the orange ones.Yes, these are gonna set you back a bit if you upgrade all the switches in your home, but you shouldn’t ever have to replace these, and the LED should work for years if not decades.

I have a light switch that is around a corner on the top of a flight of stairs which makes trying to find the light switch in the dark a little sketchy. I switched it out with this and it’s great. Not too bright but it doesn’t need to be - it gives off enough light to do the trick. I will be installing these in my bathrooms as well. It should also be helpful in not turning on the loud bathroom fans in the middle of the night!

I purchased this to see it down the hallway and it's not bright at all very disappointing

I only needed to connect the white and black wires for this to start doing exactly what I wanted: replace a regular switch with one that gives a faint glow at night for easy location :)
