I used these straps to secure the bottom of my BBQ cover. Every year I get multiple raccoons playing on my deck (as many as 5-6 at a time). One year, a raccoon lived in my BBQ and made a mess (hair and other not so pleasant items left in my BBQ).I ordered these straps and then temporarily tied down my BBQ cover with rope. That night my security cameras showed the raccoons untie my rope and access my BBQ. Once I received these straps and secured my BBQ, I saw the same raccoons attempt to get in but were unsuccessful. It's been 5 months now with many attempts by the raccoons, but these straps kept them out.

Just received these, at first glance they appear to be solid, the straps are sturdy no question but we'll see how the little plastic clips hold up. I'm going to use them on my hockey equipment bag to keep my goalie pads attached, so we'll see.

These were purchased to act as tie downs on my travel trailer battery box and they are ideal for that application. Not sure about UV resistance but I guess I will find out. The plastic buckles seem to be robust enough. Very satisfied..

The straps are perfect for what I needed them for. A little longer than I needed, so I cut them down and burnt the ends so they would not fray. Would recommend if you need straps that can be adjusted.
