Took a few try's to get the seat belt just right but when installed properly, it's just perfect! The shoulder part of the seatbelt is tricky, after installation, if you pull on it it's going to cause the car seat to fold inward. Once you have it where you want it, don't touch it, lol. Aside from me not being able to drive ALL my sons friends around (takes up most of back seat in my VW Jetta & its not coming out!), it's an awesome product & the only one out there that is crash tested!

I hated this car chair very complicated to install and the picture totally misrepresents how it looks when the car chair is in the car installed with the dog in it

not an accurate description on this item....folds over the dog if positioned as instructed....

Nice Cat Seat, I have mine about 2 years and it works very well. I have it installed in the front passenger seat of a Honda CR V. It does protrude over the center console. The only thing is the fabric stains easily but my dog doesn’t seem to mind. It did take several trips to get my dog comfy and twice he got a leg caught in the strap but I was able to stop and untangle him quickly. Now he is an expert at riding in his seat and seems to like. One more thing I believe I paid $130 more than 2 years ago so the current price seems really high
