Solar Garden Light - Outdoor Lighting for Deck, Wall, Step, Path, Fence, Landscape, Yard, Security - LED

I first bought two of these lights just to check them out. We had previously used LED lights around our pool to provide accent lighting at night, but the lights grew dim and finally wore out completely. While evaluating these, the first two blew off of the top of a set of pool stairs waiting to be installed, falling about 8 feet to a concrete driveway. There was no damage, and they still worked like a champ.We were very pleased with the output (much brighter than our previous lamps) and ruggedness, so we purchased 10 more. We now have 12 of these fastened to the pool fence, providing soft lighting for the whole pool at night. Since we installed them, we've had some extremely heavy wind and rain (enough to blow the pool furniture into the pool). The lamps all still work great.My only suggestion would be: don't forget to turn them on - LOL. I thought the first two were broken until my wife asked me- well, did you turn them on? Oh well. Great little lights!

I liked the design but it only worked for a few seconds and light turned off. I switched on off again. Same thing happened works for a few seconds then off. It has had plenty of sunlight there were days it never came on. I bought 2 how can both be defective must be a lot of bad batches out there.

Stays lighted for maximum of 10 minutes or less.

This device is not an auto on/off. The only way to turn it on is a switch located up and inside the light fixture. If you leave it on until the battery is depleted it doesn't turn back on at dark after a recharge. you have to turn the switch off and on again to use the light. I can forgive the fact that it's not auto on/off given the price point, but the fact that the switch is so hard to get to makes it something you won't want to use. regularly. I was hoping to use these to light our deck for night time parties, but the switch is so inconvenient. If it was on the outside of the fixture or easy to get to it would have been much better.

Very nice looking small solar lights. Much more attractive than the others we have purchased. Easy as can be to use and they shed a nice glow. I'm going to buy some more.

Great little light. I would have liked if even more if it also came wit stick-on tape or velcro as well as hardware as it's not easy to drill into our outer walls. As it is I have the two I bought sitting on surface, which is ok but it will be better once I can hang them as most of the light comes out the bottom. Looks much more expensive than it is, and it's amazing how it comes on when dusk hits. Recommended...even though I will have to buy double side tape for it to work for me.

I gave it one star because they're pretty. I bought these as a point of reference to back my car up at night to my husbands wheelchair ramp. I didn't require light just reference. We live in the country with no street lights. I guess I'm suppose to turn them off and on everyday to work???? They don't just come on after dark. I have to physically turn them off and on again. I do not have time for that, they should be worry free

So we had an existing led motion light and wanted to add another so we decided to try the Bontonic Solar Garden light out. We get a lot of animals by our garbage cans on the side of the house. Since we get lots of sun on that side of the house we wanted a motion light by the cans to scare away the animals at night. The installation takes less than 2 minutes which was nice. The first time I tried the light it did not work and then I realized it has an on/off switch (which my other solar led lights do not) and I found that really odd. When the light does work it does not stay on or dim like my other led lights. This light also seems to not work consistently where my other solar led lights work very consistently. Overall I would NOT purchase another one of these as there are much better options on the market.
