The Cuckoo Clock Kit 3-dimensional (3D) puzzle is a fun assembly project for children ages 6 and up. Also makes a great wooden craft for the junior woodworker or puzzle enthusiast. The pre-cut wooden pieces simply push out of the plywood sheets and make a functional clock. Use the included sandpaper to touch up rough spots then assemble according to the diagram. Stain, paint or leave wood natural. Includes a quartz time-only clock movement, hour, minute and second hands. Parts diagram sheet enclosed. Clock movement requires one AA battery which is not included. Glue is required for some joints which is not included.

Okay for the money
It looks more or less like the picture. Sadly, a piece or two broke but it was probably my fault. This is a plywood kit with tab and slot construction. It went together quickly. The instructions were kind of unique but they work. The rof detail was a little weak but oh well. I will get other details for this clock to make it nicer.

Very fragile
Nice little kit but very fragile a child would easily break the pieces. No instructions just a poor diagram so you have to figure it out yourself really. I snapped two bits as receptacle holes are too small for inserts and had to be enlarged. Wouldn’t recommend for a child I work with wood so I managed it ok

The push out templates are slighlty off so we had to sand the rough edges to look better. We did build the clock and its ok ...

Kids (and Dad) loved building this clock!
The cuckoo clock (it doesn't have a cuckoo, by the way) is now hanging on the kids bedroom wall. We had a 'holiday from home' during lockdown, with a virtual, culinary and educational tour of various countries. The clock - which (for the price) fits the theme very well and made our tour of the German Black Forest very special!

Bought as a gift, and the person didn't like it at all. We gave it to charity. I liked it though! Think it's more of a kids thing really.
