The light from this set is bright and looks great! I wanted to add landscape lighting to our backyard without hiring an electrician. I have tried solar powered in years past and was always disappointed (low light, short operational time) so I was honestly skeptical I would be happy. After spending time researching, I decided to order (3) sets and couldn’t be happier - now with more sets on order.The set’s (2) light fixtures and solar panel are smaller than I anticpated (good!) from the picture provided so I have provided a picture with a US bill for scale.Install was VERY straightforward (difficulty is 1 out 10). I temporarily installed all (3) sets on day one, but did not bury the fixtures or wires so I could make adjustments as necessary once night fell. On day (2) I more permantly mounted the fixtures and buried the wires.The biggest challenge is deciding a location for the solar panel to “collect” at least 8 hours of direct sunlight per day. I installed each solar panel on the backside of my privacy fence (no rear neighbor(s) in my case) to collect the afternoon sun so that my tree foliage did not create shadows. I did not want to see the solar panels in my landscaping during the day. As seasons change, location could become an issue as the position of the sun changes so consider this also when locating. **NOTE: Do NOT over loosen the screws holding the solar panel to its mounting bracket! I loosened one too much and found it impossible to hold the nut to retighten - would probably require complete solar panel disassembly, but I simply retightened the screw and nut to the bracket so it holds the panel steady.In conclusion, I would highly recommend this product provided the solar panel can be mounted with direct sunlight as directed (8 hours per day minimum). Those that have provided negative reviews with low light or very limited operational time may not have the solar panel in an ideal location.

wish it was brighter, but works great!

We place them in winter and we expect that for the low sunshine we have had they would not shine at night but the solar bateries charged! They are metallic and looks sturdy. We use a corrugated hose to cover the cable under the dirt and just the lamp is seen from above. Looks just perfect the light is warm and increase the natural color of our trees. I definitely recommend this product and already bought one more for the back yard.

I have had a lot of solar lights, and these are the best ones I’ve had - they’re bright, they’re well built (of metal, not plastic), and they shine brightly and well, with a nice, warm white color.The separate solar panel with a long connector wire is really key for my use here because I needed the panel to sit outside the shadow of my house - it worked perfectly!I strongly recommend this well-designed and made product!

I was looking for solar LED landscape spots that weren't too yellow but more of a true warm white. I bought one set of these to try them out and I'll definitely be buying a few more. On the highest setting they are more yellow than I'd prefer but because they have 3 settings putting them on low gives me a color temperature that's very close to what I wanted.They seem very well made and stay on all night (at least on "low", haven't tried the other settings). I've also had the solar panel charging under a pergola while it waits to be permanently installed but it fully charged even with some partial sun.

Bought this 2+ months ago. It does not work. It only barely worked to light my flagpole, yielding a few hours of lighting on most nights, then more sporadic, and then nothing. I've tried moving it, switching it on/off/on many times. I've moved it entirely, etc. Nothing works. I paid more for this unit thinking that would yield higher quality. WRONG. Just junk, like so much Amazon stuff from China these days. There is no quality control and Amazon hides behind its measly 30 day warranty?! What manufacturer gets away with a 30 day warranty? The thing limped along for that long. Is that the strategy? Make a lousy product that just barely beats the lousy warranty? Pitiful. This was bought from some company called "A+ PAY HERE". They were also of no help getting either money or a replacement product that might work. Had hoped this would last years, I didn't even get months. DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK.

I’ve tried a large number of these and they all keep failing after a while. Water infiltrates and short-circuits the LED plate, the solar cell stops working. These however have held up really well. The metal casing for the lights is tough and waterproof, the solar panel works well. It has long connector cords so you can spread out the projectors and place the solar panel in direct light. Two things to be aware of: the light is definitely yellow and the beam narrow, good for shining up a tree trunk. The solar panel has to be in bright direct sunlight to power the lights all the way through the night.

These lights burn bright and long. Great for lighting the underside of palm trees or birds of paradise 4 to 10 feet from the ground. The solar panel works best in uninterrupted sunlight (I am in southern Florida). My solar panel mounted above the pool cage does much better at collecting energy than my ground mounted panel (which receives partial shade). My first set was bought in 2015 and is still in use 6 months per year. Recently I purchased two more sets, I now own four sets to light several landscape areas. I highly recommend them.
