Compact hot rollers
First time to purchase a hot rollers set. Perfect for travel and wouldn't take a lot of space. Even though its dual voltage (with a US plug), I think using it in a 240V setting makes the unit not heat up quickly or not enough (not exactly sure how hot the rollers should be). However, I did put the hot rollers on (just warm to touch) and it still gave my hair volume and curls with just less than 5 minutes. Make sure to check and change the setting from 120V to 240V (at the bottom of the unit) to match the voltage of the country you are in.

Definitely 110 v
This is definitely 100v. Don't get this if that's not your voltage

They Work!
I haven't used hot rollers in about 20 years, and I love these! The sizes of the rollers are great, and the number of them is adequate for my shoulder length hair. I let it heat up, with the top on, for 5 min., leave the rollers in my hair about 5 min., and I get just what I want: lots of body and a smooth hairdo that I comb under. I don't want curls, so this is perfect for me. If my hair were layered, it would flip, giving some curl, but I have a straight bob. Love the size and portability. Would have been nice to have color-coded clips, but I just spread them on the counter and the sizes are readily apparent. Great buy for the price.

These Rollers Actually Stay in My Fine Hair!
This is a review of Conair's Instant Heat Compact Hot Rollers.I needed a small set of hot rollers and I really wanted mostly large rollers, so I purchased this set and also Conair's Compact Multi-Size Hot Rollers , thinking I could make my own set by combining them. After receiving them I decided not to try that as they are made of different looking materials. To test them, I rolled my hair using both types, so I could compare these against Conair's Compact Multi-Size.I am a middle-age woman with fine hair, and it has always been a challenge to get hot rollers to stay in my hair when I use them and to get my hair to stay on the rollers. Not with these! I have used many different types of hot rollers over the past decade, and I have never, ever found a hot roller that stayed in my hair like the Conair Instant Heat Compact Hot Rollers! For that reason alone I would give this set five stars. These rollers produced a long lasting, strong curl. They stayed in my hair the whole time (probably 20 minutes), even as I went about my daily tasks while waiting for them to cool. I have almost shoulder length, fine hair, but I have plenty of it.There is only one con that I noticed on these and that is I struggle to get them back into the case. I think there is a certain way they fit back in and I did not notice what it was when I first used them. But that is so minor compared to finding rollers that work so well with fine hair. A great buy - I highly recommend these.UPDATE: I have now had these rollers a couple of weeks and I actually got a second set so I would have more jumbo rollers overall. I keep them plugged into a surge protector strip and whenever I want to heat them, I just turn the strip on.Fitting the rollers back into the case got easier when I saw that the bottom part fits in a certain way. If you do not click the roller into place, it does not heat well the next time. See photos for detail. Overall, I still really like these rollers, but I still wish Conair offered a set of about 16 jumbo rollers with only 4-6 smaller ones. The jumbo ones produce a much prettier (non-poodle looking) curl.
