Edible Gold Flakes, 23k. 1 Gram

maybe it was 1 gram (it says it is on the label, but I did not weigh it), but it sure looks like 1/10 of a gram! I just received a new bottle of 1 gram from LAgoldleaf.com for $79 (lower price!). Look at the picture and decide - LAgoldleaf.com is the BIG bottle on the right

I ordered these flakes to use in reproducing a cocktail that I had read about. I wasn't sure how I would get the gold flakes from the jar to the surface of the drink, but I used a caviar spoon and the transfer worked well. The cocktails were a great success as everyone wanted to come back to the house after dinner for another one (now called an after-dinner drink) :-)
