Clever way to find your favorite disc

Story #1: The other day my disc went into the lake on one throw. I left it there for about a week when I was finally able to retrieve it from a kayak. Then I put the disc out in the sun to dry for a couple days. Charged up the beeper. It still works.Story #2: A few months ago I was playing at Crystal Mountain from the top. On one throw my disc went considerably off course. I was able to track down the disc and on the route to my disc I found 10 more discs of people who had also thrown off course but were not willing to climb down the hillside to see where it went.8 months later, my beeper is still attached to my disc. I have found several other discs because of it and despite it being submerged in water for a week I was able to get it working again.
