Is this the correct battery for a Pentax Spotmatic2? Present has no marking.

You can also use the 1.5v Energizer 389 and you should be able to buy the 389 at local shops.

Has anyone tried this in an asahi pentax sp500?

I use this battery in a 1970 Bulova Accutron watch but according to google you can use it in your camera as well.
