Work well and fairly sharp, have held up well with regular use. I would buy them again .Good product for the price, good value.

When I opened my package, I was shocked to find that the magnetic closure had come undone and the knives were floating loose in the Amazon box. Luckily, the sheaths were on and there did not seem to be any visual damage to the knives. This issue was probably due to the lack of packaging material used, but it would be better if the item's magnetic gift box had a cardboard belly band to prevent accidental opening. The gift box also had significant scuff marks and looked preowned. It wasn't a gift so not a major problem for me, but it did not look gift worthy.The knives themselves look very sleek and sexy - definitely the best looking knives I have ever owned. Love the black. I don't like obnoxious branding/logos and the Acutus branding is quite tasteful and discreet. The handles are comfortable to grip but the blades do not seem super sharp like some of the other reviews have stated. Chopping raw potatoes definitely did not feel like cutting through butter. I have to apply the same amount of force if not more than my old, unsharpened stainless steel knife. I now mainly use these knives for herbs/vegetables like cilantro/peppers and switch to my steel blade for denser food items. For this purpose they are okay so it's not worth the hassle of returning.

These are my new favorite thing, I am normally a tech guy but I love to cook and these cut wonderful and they look nice too. You have to know how to use them. No hard chopping, really they are so sharp you don't have too.

These are GREAT! One large knife suitable for carving up meats and one smaller knife for vegetables. Very sharp, sturdy, attractive, and functional. Never get dull and allow for easy cutting through most items (crunch veggies, meats, etc.). Highly recommend!

As someone who spends a lot of time cooking, either in the kitchen or on the grill, I am always on the hunt for new tools to add to my toolkit to make the job easier. I use it every opportunity I get in the kitchen because it makes prep work an absolute dream.Now, you don't want to try and chop through any bone or anything abrasive as that will wreck your blade, and that would be all sorts of bad times. You don't want that. You want these knives to last for years and years. I have been impressed with these knives since the moment I unboxed them. They arrived in a handsome box, that would make these perfect gifts for the cooks in your life, and upon opening you are graced with the sight of these gorgeous knives. They are the best looking knives in my kitchen, hands down, and man are they sharp! They chopped through raw potatoes like warm butter. Potatoes. The grips on these are nice, and feel fantastic when you are gripping them, which makes a difference when you have to prep a lot of food items.There is absolutely no way you will be disappointed with this knife set. While they don't fully replace the Steel Knives in your kitchen, they are going to become the new workhorses. Every time I have to make dinner is a treat now, because I get to pull out these beauties. They are an absolutely joy to use, I CAN'T EXPRESS THIS ENOUGH! Buy them, seriously.
