built my son a bulldozer bed and he wanted !!BIG TRUCK Lights!!!. so i grabbed these and wired them up to a 12v 5amp power supply and mounted a push-pull switch in an electrical switch box, these where easy to mount using the included screws, seams to be a sturdy plastic housings they are are extremely bright, plan to order a few of these to mount under my step bars on my truck.

Great light, except no much room to run the wire behind the light

Think about wiring connection before buying... Unless you are going to run an exposed wire out the corner, you will need to modify these. There is no recess under these for wire-nuts and the wire comes out the corner! I used a #11 bit I had handy to drill at an angle towards the center between PC board and wall, I then carefully widened the hole with the bit and a pair of needle nose pliers ripping away plastic and re-routed the wires out the hole towards the middle after pulling off the hot glue around them. This works for me because they will go over a 1" hole in the trailer and there will be room to push the wire-nuts inside the hole. This may not work for you, this is why I give it 3 stars, it makes you waste your time. They could easily change the pressing die to make them with a recess for connections underneath. On a couple, I had to buy some tiny gray wire-nuts and wire inside and they fit in the center section. Other than that they look nice and are plenty bright and every single LED works... I have used these type for decades and it's the first ones with wires that don't come out the back! Any I have ever used mounted flush over a hole, not with wire coming out the corner...
