Reading Street Grade 6, Student Edition

It's hard picking books online when you can't flip through them. But I was very satisfied flipping through. I like that this will work for a Reading Class but it touches on science and social studies. It includes fiction, nonfiction, and even play scripts. As a homeschool family this fits to our needs.

The stories are interesting and varied. The content is age appropriate. The questions inspire students to think critically.

I really enjoy this product for homeschool.

excellent short stories

Re-reading and reviewing are the best study methods I know. Our childrens reading books can never leave the classroom because they are used for multiple classes and unfortunately my children are not the kids who can read things once and retain all of the information. Each year I try to purchase the book they need, we read the stories multiple times and grades improve dramatically. I get the used books cheap then donate it to the school at the end of the year. It's WIN, WIN, WIN. Grades and confidence go up, stress goes down and the school gets one more book for future use! Thanks Amazon

Our school adopted a new reading book this year. It's not this one. Reading Street 2007 is far better. This book has some short stories and excerpts from books that every American 6th grader should read.
