Gaim Plastics Inc. The Heft Ergonomic Secondary Handle - 1 Each

My wife and I tried this and it worked OK for us. I found I couldn't throw snow as far as I could without it but age might take care of that stunt in a few years. Not a bad invenstment though. Construction is good and I put wood screws in both ends to ensure it would stay in place - after I was sure where I wanted it on the handle. It does make it hard to stack hang the assortment of shovels on the garage hook though so I wish there was a way to take it apart without unscrewing the screws on the red part though. Some sort of twist lock on the black handle to the red part would have been nice to have, espacially when you have to shovel in tight spaces, like between the garage and fence or between cars.

This handle does not stay put on the shovel's handle. During use it will slide up and have to be repositioned frequently. I tried to use it during the recent Dec. snowstorm and took it off after about 20 minutes. I have not used it since.

Works wonderfully. I used it for the first time today and loved it. The snow was that heavy, wet kind that really kills your back...but not today. I got done in half the time and my back is fine. It made the job much easier. I would definitely recommend this.

After a few uses, it pops off and gets looser the longer you pup it on and off. I'm going to attach mine with screws and just make it permanent instead of being able to use it for different tools.

This is OK, although I find that it slips too much when using. It does give extra leverage when scooping snow, but I would prefer a scoop that already has an ergonomic curve. It would be better if I could use a screw to attach this handle to a wooden handle, but the handle in my snow scoop is metal instead.

Went to install it for tomorrows snow 12-8-17 and the plastic snapped.Very poorly made.Save your money

I don't know if ours was defective, but it was used for the first time today 12/9/17 for less than 1/2 inch of light snow. It broke with the first shovel full. Both plastic pieces that wrap around the shovel broke right down the middle.

A great tool but didn't work on the pole saw I purchased as it did not have a round pole. I think it would work well on round handled items like a shovel, etc.
