SeaLife Super Macro Close-Up Lens for Micro Series & RM-4K

This is a great lens, and makes excellent macro images. Highly recommended! After reading some of the other reviews about this lens, I think some reviewers either don't understand what this lens is for, or don't understand how to use it. Let me offer a few points: 1. This lens is designed to be used with Micro series cameras (Micro 2.0 or Micro 3.0) or the RM (ReefMaster) -4k camera. It is not designed to work with the DC 2000 camera, and will not fit that system. 2. This is a "wet" lens. It is designed to be used underwater. It will make the best images when there is a thin layer of water between the front lens of the camera and the rear element of the lens. It can be used out of water, and will still make good images, but that's not what it's primarily designed for. Mine came brand new in the packaging, with all the accessories. For the price, this is an excellent lens.

It was easy to pop on and off my camera. However if you did it out of the water...some would leak in and distort pictures. If you did it in the water you had to be careful of debris getting in and also distorting pictures. I did not see a significant improvement in my macro shots.

Great lens for small or close up shots. Easy to use by tying the string to the camera and putting the lens on underwater when needed. Made close up shots sharper and more crisp.
