I heard good reviews of Gelid, and I have not been disappointed... It's now my go-to for thermal pads, and I have used it in several applications. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. As a matter of point, I initially bought for an RTX2080ti who's VRAM was running hot, causing artefacts on the display... That's been solved and running fine for what, over 5 years now. Similarly, I built my new machine around an RTX3080 who's VRAM was running around 98C. Supposedly within spec, but concernedly toasty IMO... Gelid pads fitted with thermal grizzly compound on the die, and VRAM is now constantly within a few degrees of the GPU die (indicating an excellent thermal bridge between the die, heatsink, and the VRAM). I've also used thermal grizzly compound and Gelid pads to fix 2 or 3 overheating laptops in the last few years. My point being, I've used it enough to be confident in it's quality.

I bought this as my tiny little ThknkPad A285 is notebook sized and has rather measly cooling performance, causing it to get uncomfortably hot sometimes to the point where it would genuinely hurt to touch the bottom. These thermal pads have improved the cooling DRAMATICALLY!. Situations where it would previously get burning and a little painful to touch on the bottom are now just rather warm instead, and CoreTemp is showing me idles of 45c where it would previously idle at around 55-65c, on top of this if I had a 3D game open it would get to 85c and then throttle, but now it doesnt seem to go past 75c with a game open for the most part, only going to 80c on very rare occasions before dropping down to 75c a second later. Very good purchase!

The memory junction on my card was hitting 106c with 100% fan. I bought some Arctic pads that were marginally cheaper, but they didn't really affect the temperature in the the way that I'd hoped, though they dropped to 100c. I took a chance hoping that these Gelid pads would be better and I'm so pleased I did. After 1 hour mining with the same settings the memory junction is showing as 86c. The ambient temperature is the same so all things being equal I'm seeing a total drop of 20c in contrast to the stock pads.

I used these when I was reconditioning an old GPU, the pads were no good and it was full of vape juice. These did the job perfectly and we're easy to use, highly recommend!

This is fantastic performing thermal pad however you may want to downgrade to the Extreme line if using these for a GPU. Bought multiple of these which ultimately went to waste because they are too firm and prevent the GPU heatsink making good contact with the GPU chip when applied to RAM. The Extremes have a softer consistency which allows them to be squashed a little more under pressure which is essential for many GPUs to get good all round contact. I wish someone had told me this before I started buying as I would have saved around £40 or more.

If you want the best get these i dont remeber what exact temps decrease i was getting but it waas better than the old pads.Youtube reviewer tested this against 10 other pads and this one came on top.

Me ha sorprendido para bien estos thermal pads de 2 y 3mm para mi zotac amp holo 3080, la última vez lo cambié hace dos años pero esta vez decidí poner estos de gelid ultimate, dejo imagen de temperaturas de antes y después

Ho preso questi pad per i noti problemi di surriscaldamento delle memorie gddr6x, in particolar modo sulla RTX 3090 FE. In gaming con rtx attivo la scheda supera abbondantemente i 100 gradi e in mining portandola con nicehash in profilo high (120mh/s) si toccano i 115 gradi con ventole sempre al 100%. Una volta sostituiti i pad, seguendo delle guide su internet, le temperature sono scese notevolmente! In gaming si sta sotto i 90 gradi, mentre in mining la temperatura è scesa a 90 gradi stabili con ventole al 50%! 25 gradi di guadagno, un'enormità! Consiglio vivamente la sostituzione (prestando massima attenzione a smontare la scheda) perché il guadagno è davvero assurdo! Io ho avuto bisogno di 3 pad per fare tutta la scheda. Naturalmente ho anche rimesso la pasta termica con una nochtua nt-h1. Una fortissima tirata di orecchie a Nvidia perché non si può andare al risparmio con dei pad termici su una scheda da €1650.

Must be the best thermal pads on market! In full load on game i got 78 Celsius on memory vram junction temp on my XFX rx 6800 XT merc speedster. I am happy with this.

Ich habe mir diese Pads für mein Referenzmodell der AMD RX 6700XT gekauft. Die Problematik, der höheren Temperaturen bei diesen Modellen war mir bekannt, weshalb ich im Internet nach einer Lösung suchte. Ich habe eine Anleitung gefunden, die einfach beschreibt, wie und wo Pads bei dieser Grafikkarte sinvoll sind! Ich wollte natürlich keine 0-8-15 Pads! Also habe ich mich für diese entscheiden und es nicht bereut! Diese Packung bietet genug Inhalt für den ganzen Bereich unter der Backplate. Die Teperaturen sind nach der Installation deutlich niedriger (ca. 10-15°C) !!! Die Kühlleistung ist wirklich extrem gut und ich kann nur jedem empfehlen ein paar Euro mehr auszugeben und hier zuzuschlagen!

Ich habe die Thermalpads auf meiner Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity gegen die Gelid Solutions GP-Ultimate ausgetauscht. Leider verwendet Zotac auf der Vorderseite der Grafikkarte 2 mm und auf der Rückseite 3 mm dicke Termalpads, so dass ich zwei verschieden dicke Ersatzpads bestellen musste. Aber dafür kann ja Gelid nichts. Bei der Verwendung einheitlich starker Pads hätte eine Packung wahrscheinlich _knapp_ gereicht. Der Austausch ist für einen halbwegs geübten Bastler keine allzu große Herausforderung, das Ergebnis überzeugend. Je nach Anwendung und Benchmark bleiben die VRAMs um die 10-12K Kühler als zuvor. Für die GPU selbst habe ich übrigens als WLP Arctic MX-4 mit ähnlichem Ergebnis verwendet.
