Good fit and quality material

Our A/C fan unit is accumulating rust after twenty years. It sits just outside the garage door. As we live on a corner lot, it's starting to look a bit unsightly. This cooler cover has solved that problem for most of the year. The quality is fine and the corner opening works perfectly with the placement of our unit. We had a difficult time finding a cover because our fan unit is smaller than average. Traditional A/C covers were way too large. This one is just right. It comes with a long tie to secure the corner flaps. It might have been helpful to have metal grommets around the bottom so that the cover could be secured with tent stakes. We had to put some rocks around the bottom edge of the cover to keep it secure. Not a big deal though..still looks better than a rusted unit.

Once I measured correctly, this swamp cooler cover was perfect and fits well. Will it have a durability of the old canvas cover? It doesn't have tjhe mass but perhaps the waterproof outer cover will make for some longevity. Colorado can be pretty harsh because of the sun that shines throughout the winter months and the low humidity. When I remove the cover next May, I'll know what to expect long term.

It lasted for 6 years and then was torn to shreds by a one-off windstorm. After about 3 years the rope started to fray. The material tears easily on sharp metal corners, which is probably why the wind was able tear it up.

I purchased this cooler cover to protect my new outside air conditioning unit from the winter snow and cold of the east coast. The size is generous and the company gives many options in sizes. The material is not a heavy canvas but adequate to protect from rain, dust, and snow. The material is light weight and has a tie for closer that I did not feel would be adequate to use alone. I reinforced the cover with a strap placed at the bottom of the unit to make sure it would not blow off from the strong gusts of winds, I recommend using a straps or bungee cords to anyone who would be considering purchasing this cover regardless of the size of your unit as it will blow off. I would purchase again and would recommend to a friend or neighbor. The delivery was prompt and the cost was reasonable.

Hard to find a cover this size. I like it. Wish it was a little cheaper price. They usually last a couple years though.
