I recently started getting back in the kitchen again and was getting so annoyed with the state of our kitchen counter and kitchen walls. I’m sharing a flat with 3 other college friends so you can imagine the mess that gets created every time one of us is in the kitchen. On top of that, we’re college students so there isn’t much skill to what we cook! Let’s just say we use the frying pan to death!My roommate had heard of these from growing up in Hong Kong and I thought, heck, why not give it a try! The less time I spend cleaning the more time I have to do more productive things like playing xbox!The screen arrived a couple of days ago and I honestly haven’t had much cleaning to do since! I was a bit worried about cleaning the mesh centre but its very fine and hasn’t been a problem at all. The different ridges also allow for it to be used on different sized pans.The one thing I really like is that the screen itself is really easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much space in the drying rack (see photos below).Would definitely recommend it, saves so much time and hassle !

I’ve used splatter screens before but this one was a good combination of all of them. I was used to using screens that were completely made out of mesh so when I saw this one I wasn’t sure if that might affect the way the food cooked but it didn’t really make a difference which I liked. Other than that, extremely easy to clean...I usually hand clean everything but I’ve also thrown it in the dishwasher, which the retractable handle is great for.Also makes for easy storage. I imagine if you had somehwere to hang it, you can hang it from the handle or fold it up and put it away.Good product and saves me $$$ on anti-grease foam for cleaning the stove!!

Love this "new" style of splatter screen. The center is made of see-through screen, and the rest is solid, quality stainless steel. It cleans up easily, quality is great (won't rust), and the fold up handle is very convenient. This is my second splatter screen of this type, and I prefer them over my "old fashioned" all mesh screens. If I need a little more space in the pan, I flip the screen over and get another 1/2 inch or so in height above the food in the pan. The design allows the screen to fit comfortably on different size pans. My old screens are going into the trash. I am looking for my third stainless screen.

I am happy to have finally found a splatter screen that works. I used those cheap ones where the screen came out of the frame. This product promises better things. I like that the handle folds up for storage and that the metal frame is made to fit different size pans. It's a good product at an afffordable price.

It's the best splatter screen I've owned but some splatter still comes through the screen. Folding handle is useful. I'm satisfied. Not quite large enough to completly cover up my 12" fry pan. I still use it with the pan but I'd have prefered a half inch larger diameter.

This splatter screen is WONDERFUL! The screen allows the steam to vent well, and the ingenious wide, solid metal rim keeps the grease from splattering all over the stove top and backsplash. All the splatter screens I've gone through over the years have always eventually torn loose from the frame, and none of them have done a perfect job of stopping splatters. This one does. I love it.

Love the folding handle for storage and it does keep splatters to a minimum. But.... it is about a half inch to small to fit a twelve inch skillet or wok, which is the size of choice when cooking for a family. Also, if using a high temp like for fish, it warps instantly.

I love this gadget- it's great quality. I always grill chicken and onions on the stove and hate the mess it makes. I have an expensive William Sonoma splatter screen that doesn't hold a candle to this one.I especially like the retractable handle for easy storage and the fact that only the middle round of the top is netted- this makes clean up a breeze. It fits most sizes and fits my dishwasher easily. This will be my go to item from now on if I am cooking anything stovetop- love love love it!
