Sea Turtle Cookie Cutter Set

My daughter had a Hawai'ian honu (turtle) baby shower theme, and this was the perfect set to make the cookie favors. I decorated them with color-flow icing and some small candied daisies from Wilton that I used to glue a lei onto the adult turtle. I made both the larger "parent" cookie, and the smaller "baby" cookie, and "glued" the baby cookie on top the larger one with some royal icing. I bagged them in clear plastic goodie bags to give away to the guests and they were a huge hit. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5, because I prefer copper cutters, but really, there was nothing wrong with this set.

I haven't used these cookie cutters yet, but just having them is a novelty to me. I can't wait to use them.

May 23rd is World Turtle Day and I wanted to do something fun with the grandkids. This trio of cutters was perfect! I will use the large sea turtle for cookies and the small sea turtle and egg will make great craft making tools for the kids. I couldn't find sea turtle cookies cutters anywhere except here!
