Once you learn how to start and set the flame, this works awesome
For the money, this little setup is awesome. I am using it to braze dissimilar metals together as well as welding brass rods for a Christmas decoration. Take a little time to go on YouTube to learn how to safely assemble and then start the flame and how to set the 02 level for the right kind of flame. This kit is sturdy, and safe for household or Harry the Homeowner little things like brazing things and welding super thin metals. The key is learning how to safely start the MAPP and then adding just enough 02 slowly so you get a proper flame. The O2 goes super fast so always have an extra bottle available. This kit is well built and usefull.

GOOD ITEM , BAD DEAL
MY ONLY WISH IS THAT IT HAD THE BOTTLES WITH IT. THE ITEM FROM TRACTOR SUPPLY CONTAINS THE BOTTLES AND WOULD HAE BEEN ONLY $10.00 MORE . I HAD TO SPEND $30.00+ TO BUY THE BOTTLES.

Good value
I have used this item twice, and have had good results. I have used oxy/acetylene torches for brazing HVAC lines for many years. This set works well and is much more easily moved around and up to roofs. I had some difficulty with adjusting the flame however this was easily overcome with use and practice.

Hoses brake to easy and they start leaking....hoses break too easy really cheap material
Hoses brake to easy and they start leaking.... I will never buy this product brand again because very cheap workmanship hoses break too easy really cheap material, not only because that this is dangerous but Potential danger of fire or explosion and I didn't even finish my very first job because I lost all my gases and I'm also down about $45 due to the gas leakage

A única conexão que funciona é do gás mapp, a conexão do oxigênio é incompatível com os cilindros descartáveis aqui no Brasil. Se as mangueiras apresentarem defeito não poderiam ser trocadas , já que o maçarico é uma peça inteira.
