130 New Iris Folded Cards to Make

I purchased this for the iris folding ideas and patterns; an unexpected benefit was seeing the same pattern created in three or four different colors. The same card design takes on a completely different personality when done in orange instead of blues. Loved it. First borrowed from a friend but decided it was a keeper! With store bought cards coming in at 3-4 dollars each creating my own works well. Plus, friends and family often frame these cards as small works of art. Enjoy.

I was excited when I ordered this book thinking I was going to have all these patterns to choose from to make different holiday cards and instructions on exactly how to do it all in one place, not needing to jump from site to site on the internet. The book has 37 actual iris folding patterns, and then other patterns to cut out to go with the design such as hair on a girl. I found more patterns myself on the internet in two hours and better instructions and made my own cd to use. I may just make myself a book with the binding machines they have. For me this was a poor excuse for instructions. I will not purchase another book by this author it just didn't work for me. Oh and it showed the patterns done in five different colors I guess that is how they were getting 130 patterns out of it. For me it was a waste of money. However I am only one person you may like it. I did not.

I really like this book. I had fun trying the different patterns and they are very nice, not perfectly done but good for a beginner like me. I like the color combination designs with the same pattern.

I get books like this for my wife quite often.. If she likes it, she's happy. Therefore, I, too, become happy. She likes this one very much. Gentlemen, make good choices like this, letting her check out the title and the more detailed view, and all will continue well.

These instructions and pictures make iris folding very easy and enjoyable! This book has great patterns and very easy instructions with pictures to help beginners to the more experienced! Very delighted with my purchase!

This book is amazing. Has so many cute designs. I had looked high and low for a horse pattern and finally found a great one in this book. I've just recently gotten into Iris folding and it is so much fun. This book will give me hours and hours of folding fun.

The book may be better for master iris paper folders, but I instruct adult classes and it I found it would be difficult trying to use the patterns without numbers to teach a class.

Many of Maruscha Gaasenbeek's books contain the same designs. Pick one and you're probably okay. The instructions were clear and easily followed.

Good variety of shapes

I love this craft. Maruscha Gaasenbeek is the best author for Iris folding. Lots of lovely ideas and simple templates to follow. I get lots of compliments when I make these cards for people.
