A true masterpiece
This is the first book without illustrations on every page that my 6 year old has enjoyed reading. In fact, she begs me to read from it almost every day. The illustrations are beautiful and the storyline is equally so. We have both been engrossed in this book. While my daughter loves to read, I don’t typically enjoy reading nearly as much. However, there have been many times this story has moved me to tears. We’re not finished with it yet but I couldn’t wait to review it. Outstanding purchase. I’m so glad we’ll have it in our home library for years (and more children) to come.

Absolutely stunning book!!!
This book is incredible!! The illustrations are out of this world and how can you go wrong with a beautiful classic story adapted for kids?! This has become one of my favorite baby shower gifts for friends!! It is a long and hefty book but just think about all the hours of storytelling you'll have with your growing family? Seriously... this book is worth every penny and more!!

A Definite Must Have!!
We have been enjoying this book so much! I really like that it has a ribbon to mark your page! There are beautiful artistic sketches throughout the pages with short small chapters (2 pages or so). Our 3rd grader could read this with a need of some help with some challenging words. What makes this book more great is that it’s aligned with scripture, while making it intriguing for little ones to enjoy and delve in. Pages cream colored and thick with word font being at the perfect size! Highly recommend this read!! Makes a great bedtime story :)

Get this for your kids. Two books in one.
Amazing book. They will want to read 2-3 chapters. Great for young readers, however not as many pictures as you get later into the story. 6+ preferred, however my 4 year old was captivated but you’ve got to remember to do voices while reading and ask questions after every chapter. Great for teaching Bible principles.

Very nice book
There are lovely illustrations on almost all the pages, some larger and some smaller. Our kids loved it and it helped them learn many concepts. The characters are quite cute.

kids love it
the art is great, and the rewritten story to be about animals makes it easier for them to follow who is who. It is written with a strong British accent, so there's different ways of conveying ideas than my American kids are used to, not a deal breaker. my biggest issue is some theological differences from the original Bunyan version, but the kids don't notice, and it creates good conversation when they don't understand something. overall its great, and absolutely recommended.
