Immortal Rain, Vol 6

Cannot say enough good things about this manga. So beautiful the characters are so broken and pure. Highly recommend.

I don't usually buy paper copies of manga but this one was well worth it! I would recomend it highly.

Volume 6 was a little disappointing compared to the previous 5. The story of Immortal Rain is a little too similar to Trigun at first, but it gets it's own story line fairly quickly, and things start getting interesting. This book starts off with another "did she die?" cliffhanger (it's getting a bit old) but quickly transitions into another mutual search by Rain and Machika as they look for each other. This volume is skinnier than the rest, and ends a lot quicker. The plot isn't as interesting, and not that much happens. However, the series is great, and volume 6 (which I think is the worst so far) is still a lot better than the majority of manga books out there. However, I feel obligating to warn some people. The author basically ends the series with this volume, for the time being, anyway. Not so much that the story ends here (it certainly doesn't, with another cliffhanger) just that Kaori Ozaki hasn't finished the series. Ozaki just stopped writing it. Who knows if it's temporary or no, but since the series is so good, it'll suck you right in and then be very disappointing when you can't read an ending for it.

a little heartbreaking at times, but overall good and satisfactory... except at the end; brilliant cliff hanger i must say.
