I purchased these along with the Krazy Outdoors Mosquito Net Hammock (double wide) and absolutely love both products! They are quality tree straps with adjustment loops along the whole length. This is nice so that you can get the perfect height for your hammock regardless of tree width (other straps that just have a few loops may end up with too low of a hammock on skinnier trees if you can't get straps high enough, or too taught on wider trees). This product does come with 2 carabiners, though they're pretty cheap ones (light weight, not a smooth lock). I have used them and they do work. Provided the decent price of this tree strap set, the carabiners are of expected quality. However if you happen to have better quality ones or just want a little more peace of mind especially if you're hanging more than a couple feet off the ground, I'd suggest a $10 investment in locking/heavy weight carabiners.

These straps may be okay for most users, but not for me. I have two trees in my yard suitable for hanging a hammock. One is about 3.5 feet in circumference; the other is 8 feet. The description of these straps states that they "will fit around almost any posts or trees," and the featured photo on the Amazon site appears to show the strap wrapped just once around a large tree. However, the instructions that come with these straps states the following in boldface italics: "If the tree trunk is too large and you cannot wrap the strap around a second time, you must find another tree. Failing to do so will not provide a tight fit and put too much stress on the cloth loop." Had I known this, I would not have ordered these straps. You can wrap an 11-foot strap once around a tree that has a circumference of 8 feet, but you cannot wrap it more than once. I therefore am returning these straps.

If you can imagine yourself unloading your hammock at a campground and swinging between two trees in the evening breeze, these are for you. Amazingly simple design that supports a big guy like me. The straps simply go around a tree, pass the ring through the buckle and hook it to your hammock. I'm a big guy at nearly 400 pounds. I was laying on the hammock and my dog decided to join me, no issues here.Save yourself the stress of some other strap, order this set today.

These straps will not fail you, that is for sure. They are overkill for pretty much any hammock as the hammock will likely snap before these do. That said, they are a pain to put up. Many of my friends have eno straps which they are able to put up in seconds where as these generally take me at least 5 minutes. This isn't a huge deal to me and I still love my straps, but is important to note for anyone looking to buy.

Extremely easy to set up and durable. We are using it to hang out hammock between two wide trees. My husband and I both lay in our hammock together and this product is able to hold us both. Product does not stretch. It also stays put. Although we take our hammock inside when we are not using it we leave the straps around our tree. They are holding up great in our Florida weather. Constant rain, heat, and windy storms. Yet straps stay in place. We just ordered a second set to hang out hammock chairs.

My husband and I have used these for our hammock which we have only laid in twice. We set up everything according to the directions and put the hooks on the same way as the diagram showed. The second time we used it, the S-hook bent backward and dropped us to the ground. This also caused the loop on the hammock to snap back and hit my husband, leaving a nice welt. We are not even close to the 500lb strap limit (the 1000lb capacity is misleading as that's combining the two straps). It seems the S-hooks are not rated for the same weight capacity and are dangerous. We will not be using these again.

LOVE it! Used it for my hammock I had gotten a few years ago from BJ's. Super easy to use, no damage to tree, and easy to take down for winter. Had plenty of strap if had a larger tree, or if our trees were further apart. Would be easy to take along camping too.
