Buy together and save! This set includes the VegTrug Patio Garden, the VegTrug Frame & Greenhouse Cover. The VegTrug Patio Garden lets you garden at an easy working height; no bending or kneeling to plant, tend and harvest. Elevated bed means no weeds and fewer pests, too. The V-shape makes efficient use of space and planting mix — grow deep-rooted plants like tomatoes in the center, shallow-rooted crops along the edges. Includes a fitted fabric liner to keep soil contained while letting excess water drain. Plastic feet protect wood from wet surfaces. Easy assembly. The VegTrug Set includes the Vegtrug Frame & Greenhouse Cover. You can start planting earlier in spring and extend the growing season later into fall for an even bigger harvest. The easy-to-install, 21\"-high steel frame installs in minutes with convenient push-fit connectors, and the reinforced polyethylene greenhouse cover has heavy-duty stitching and zippers. The cover slips snugly over the frame and attaches with strong VELCRO brand tabs. Zips open for ventilation and easy access to crops. The set also includes the polyethylene micro-mesh VegTrug Insect Cover to protect plants from insects, birds, harsh winds and hungry deer. To install, simply remove the greenhouse cover from the frame, and then install the insect cover in its place. Attaches with strong VELCRO brand tabs. Zips open for ventilation and easy access to crops.

After successful growing seasons for 3 years, I will add a third VegTrug next year.
This is my 3rd growing season using two VegTrugs and each year, I am getting smarter on how to use them effectively. I now use them primarily for salad fixings (lettuce, radishes, tomatoes) as well as spinach in the early part of the season plus Swiss chard all season. Oh, and basil. This year has been the best producing season and I plan to purchase a third VegTrug for onions for next year. While I also have two "regular gardens" for things that require more space (cucumbers and various squash varieties), the convenience of having VegTrugs right outside my door is a winner for me.I use both the greenhouse and screened covers in the spring (I live in Vermont, so the greenhouse cover is a necessity for starting things early.) I keep the support structure installed all season to help with securing the tomatoes. This year I purchased tomato ladders (shown in pictures) and this combo is working out great.During the winter, I cover the VegTrugs with heavy duty patio covers. Though the wood is good quality, snow, ice, and wind always take their toll so precaution seems prudent.

A total winner for growing vegetables. Very well worth the investment.
I had looked long and far for something like this. I live in Charlotte and my yard seems ridden with insects that love whatever I plant and I got tired after 3 summers of constantly spraying organic insect repellent on my vegetables. So I ordered this and I have nothing but favorable things to say about this product.-Easy to assemble. WATCH the VIDEO on Youtube!!! and you need someone to help you. Not hard, but it allows you to build with the most accuracy if someone helps.-This came with two covers- one for cold weather starts and another a very fine mesh to keep insects out. Both work very well respectively. The fine mesh allows water to come through and is indeed effective in keeping insects out.-Vegetables grow CRAZY in this thing. Amazing. I planted the same stuff in a raise bed at the same time and the stuff in the VegTrug is outgrowing the same stuff in my raise bed. It's a bit expensive but the quality is very good and this should last many growing seasons.A negative is I wish the frame for covers was taller...by May everything was too tall for the cover and I had to ditch it.

A Must Have for Gardeners!
I absolutely love this! The covers have been a blessing with this unpredictable weather; it has kept my plants safe from the lower night temps as well as the April rain. The insect cover keeps bugs out yet provides the same amount of sun that's required to continue growth. The VegTrug itself is very sturdy, easy to assemble and holds a lot more than expected. I am growing three tomato, jalapeño pepper plants as well as cucumbers, cilantro, basil, parsley, thyme, rosemary, oregano, sage and garlic onions and they're growing beautifully. I would absolutely recommend the medium sized VegTrug; that's what I purchased.

Good size, good design, good height, a few glitches
5 stars because of the available choices, it seems to be the most functional. I used a cordless drill (very carefully) for driving all the screws and had no problems with wood splitting. Complaints: The top frame tubes were too short, so it is now held together with a bungee cord. The hook and loop tabs are completely inadequate; my solution was some galvanized steel mending plates and fishing weights to clamp the cover in place and hold everything down. But I have an herb and tomato garden that's easy to weed and harvest.

Its well made and durable. be sure to follow online video tutorial!
Nice design and strong. the only thing to be aware of (this is mentioned in the video) is to leave every screw looseuntil its all assembled...This is the only way to be able to get all the pieces to fit together as designed. After it is all assembled, one has fiddle with the side pieces and end pieces to appreciate how every component is pre-cut to exactly the correct dimension.

Good buy for the money
The VegTrug was really easy to put together. I watched the YouTube video and it really helped. It took me and my husband about 30 minutes to put together. We assembled it in our livingroom and then moved it to the backyard. It was heavy but not too heavy that we couldn't lift it. I put the greenhouse cover on it and my plants are doing great. The height is great and I no longer have to get on my knees to work my garden. BTW, it came a lot faster than scheduled. Haven't gotten the bug cover yet, but I will contact the company about it.

Great, and we couldn't be more thrilled!
This is the best patio garden ever! We are an older couple (my husband is 72), and we put it together after watching the excellent YouTube video. My husband even has a bad back, and he was dreading this task. But he was pleasantly surprised, as everything went together in great fashion. The covers are awesome and the quality of the wood pieces, etc. just couldn't be better. Whoever designed this unit is our hero. We got everything planted, and we are now having more fun than two kids at the park.

VegTrug - well built and sturdy
Unit is very well packaged and parts arrived in good condition. The "instructions" are nothing more than a few drawings and I had to backtrack a couple of times because I had a part turned around backwards. Even with that slight hiccup, assembly was completed in well under an hour. Use a power screwdriver - there are a lot of screws.Once assembled, the unit seems very sturdy. Within two hours of opening the box, I had veggies and seeds planted and watered. The design of the tub allows you to plant shallow growth items along the sides, and root crops in the middle. Once filled with soil, I think it would take a hurricane to move it. Make sure you put it in its permanent location before adding the dirt.
