works great as a wireless unit
Put in my 30 Ft motorhome with the camera hot wired to the back running lights.... works great as a wireless unit... no holes to punch and waterproof.

Do not buy this!!!!
This setup was a total waste of money. Did a permanent install on our RV and first discovery was that the picture quality was bad. Missing one color as everything green was pink. Didn't expect much, because of the price, but after the first rain camera was full of water. Removed camera cover, drained and dried what I could. Camera went back to working(even less quality) and after another rain- filled up again. this time the picture just disappeared. Even worse, we were on the road. Needed a replacement and bought the Cool Woo camera setup. Amazing!!It is a corded model(another buyer had stated that it was the way to go). I agree, the picture quality is great, no water issues and it is much higher quality. Another point is this-because we were traveling(left box at home), we returned home after the 30 day return window... so I am stuck with this piece of junk.

What instructions provided are worthless. Does not transmit or receive no where near the range advertised. Camera lasted a week before burning out. DO NOT BUY!!!UPDATED REVIEW!!!!Well the vendor contacted me after my review and offered to send me a new camera, which I agreed to. The new camera came in and would not work after swapping out the one that burned out. I had an electrician verify continuity and power. Still would not work. I contacted the vendor about the issue and told them that I had given up on their product. They did refund my purchase.I would give a higher rating due to the vendors willingness to help make things work out and refund the purchase, but it would not make the product any better!
