Gorgeous napkins!
I ordered these napkins in red, for our Christmas table. They arrived quickly and are very nice quality. They're 100% cotton, but have the look of linen. I like that they're cotton because it makes them absorbent, unlike nylon or poly napkins which are shiny and don't soak anything up. The cut out design around the border gives them a formal, classic look, too. They iron like a dream, and I look forward to using them every year for many years. Another bonus is that there are 12 in the package (making them less than $2 apiece!), and with six in our family that means I have spares if it gets stained irreparably.I also plan to buy some of their other colors - they're that nice!Edited Jan 2012: I almost forgot to add that they didn't fade at all when I washed them. They did bleed in the water (I washed them by hand that first time) I air dried them and then ironed them before putting them away for next year. They look almost like new after washing. Love them!

Great Napkins!
Originally we gave these napkins a 3 star review. They come very starched and it takes some time before the starch gets thoroughly washed away. Once it did, the napkins are nice and soft and do not wrinkle much. The starch actually made them wrinkle more! Now we just smooth them out as soon as they come out of the dryer and they look pretty good. If we were going to have a very nice dinner then I would iron them, but for everyday use they are perfect and pretty easy to take care of. They do not show stains much. I have never stain treated them and rarely notice a stain, when I do notice one it usually washes out on its own after a few washes. We plan on buying more in the near future. Definitely a good gift. We have had ours for 2 years now and cannot imagine going back to using paper towels!

Seem good to me.
They didn't shrink particularly. They could do with an iron but if you fold them out of the dryer they aren't too bad. I haven't used them with any curry or anything, so I don't know how cleanable they are. They seem like a good purchase to me.

Nice enough
They look nice. Finish overall is good, with some slips of the stitching, but not too bad. They are nice enough for occasional use. I washed them in cold water and put them in the drier for a few minutes until damp. They did shrink a bit and got out of square. I had to pull them to square off and flatten them prior to ironing them. There are a couple that either faded more in the wash or came from a different dye lot. They would be too much work for regular use. I ordered three 12-packs for an event I am hosting.

Just what I was looking for.
I ordered these napkins in 4 bright colors for an upcoming party. They are as bright as the pictures show. I washed them all in cold water and dried them in the dryer before using them and found that although they did shrink a bit (1" or less) and did fade a bit, they are still delightfully bright and festive. By taking them immediately out of the dryer and smoothing them flat, they are presentable enough for a casual gathering without any ironing. If you prefer a crisp cotton look, a quick ironing will do the trick. Given the bright colors, ease of laundering, and the exceptional price, I would highly recommend them.

Great linen-like cotton napkins, great for holidays, entertaining, gifts
Beautiful hemstitch detail, great quality cotton, excellent workmanship, finish is linen-like. Colors don't run in the wash. I dried them on a drying rack once and in the dryer a second time. They needed to be ironed and it was worth the effort. (Maybe I should have dried them flat but I don't have room for that.) I bought lovely/rich red shade, elegant for holidays and entertaining. The right red for Christmas and Lunar New Year. I would buy this again in any color. They would make a great gift.

If you like purple, these are your napkins.
First impressions:Nice weight, good stitching, these are not slapped-together cheap goods. The burgundy color is much more purple than pictured on my new MacBook's monitor. I'd call it zinfandel.Still, it looks good with two of the linens I want it to work with, but not the third. It's inexpensive enough that I'll keep it and buy another set, perhaps in red, to work with the other tablecloth.I haven't laundered or used them yet, and will adjust my review if needed.

Lovely Napkins at a Great Price
These napkins are lovely! Beautiful vibrant color that looks exactly like the photo. They are high quality, durable and wash up very nicely. An excellent price for such a great product.FOLLOW UP: I have now had these for about six months and love them more than ever! They have been through the wash countless times and still come out looking colorful, beautiful and fresh. They need no ironing, just take them out when they are slightly damp and give them a shake and a smooth-down and they are ready to go. Best napkins ever!
