My indoor cat 10months old loves it, I like how it has lower calories because she always wants to eat. Great value price cheaper than in stores. She seems incredibly happy, energetic, and recent vet checkup confirmed she is perfect and healthy. They recommended only 1/2 cup a day, the pet food brands always recommend more than needed on package.

I’ve been feeding my indoor cats Purina ONE indoor formula dry cat food for years. I attributed the frequent regurgitation of food to hairballs and occasionally ingesting a dust ball. Boy, was I wrong. I finally caved to my spouse and tried another brand of dry cat food. I chose IAMS due to the similar price point. After fully transitioning to IAMS over a week, there has been NO regurgitation from either cat. An extra bonus is that the solid waste in the litter box is markedly less pungent. Fingers crossed that this all continues. I decided to compare the ingredients between the Purina ONE and the IAMS dry cat formulas. The big difference is that the Purina ONE contains pea protein and the IAMS does not.

My cat has been quick to eat this consistently for the past few years. With only one cat, the bag lasts a while, but so long as you keep it sealed, the smell and the texture don't change over the course of a few weeks. I may end up going for smaller bags eventually, but I will stick with that particular kind. As a side note, like the title says, I've not had any issues with hairballs so far, but considering it's been a few years with no issues, it's safe to say that's not going to be too much of an issue.
