Couldn't bring myself to spend 100+ on the 'name brand', so got this. Cheaper for a reason. Design quality and quality control seems lacking. My unit was not assembled properly. The pump depends on a silicon valve/stopper that closes when the pump is pressed, and opens to inhale air on the opposite stroke. The stopper was installed in the wrong hole of the diaphragm so did not seal when the pump was pressed. I eventually got it moved to the correct position, but came very close to wrecking it in the process, which would have made the whole purchase a waste of money. Also, the hoses attach using hose barb fittings. The hoses are very difficult to get on, and seem to come off easily. To the point that once you get them on, you won't want to take them off....negating the usefulness of the carrying case.I am going to use it, but it is not a quality piece of kit. I guess I got my money's worth...put probably no long term satisfaction with the product. It is kind of sad that you seem to have a choice between cheap, poorly constructed products, or absurdly priced but higher quality ones. I mean, this is a plastic bag of water with a foot pump and a nozzle! It seems to me someone should be able to make something decent in the 50 buck range.Update: Took it camping for the first time, and it performed well. It turns out that you can stow it into the case with the hoses attached, so that is not an issue. So really, my only problem was the quality control. That may have been an exception....no way to know... So...I am more positive about this now. Clearly not as good as the name brand, but a lot cheaper too. I have updated to 3 stars from 2.

Works well when tested. Bought it as an additional one for the "original" version.Compared to the "original version", the original has extra metal clamps at the hose connections, handle at the bottom and a clear window at the top.This cheaper one doesn't have the clear window so it's hard to tell what's the water level. Also has really really large letters on the side not shown in the stock photo. The nylon materials in the original seems softer and smoother.Seems OK for the price. Not sure about durability.

Cheap Chinese knockoff of the Nemo Helio Pressure Shower

Easy to assemble, directions not completely comprehensive, I couldn't get it to Flo consistently had to fuss a lot with it.No battery's needed,as I said great idea.We bring it to the beach to wash the kids of and it works great. We camp a lot and use it to rinse off the dirty little ones at the end of the day.
