I've used this thermometer a couple times already and love it. This would be my second thermometer I've ever owned, and I'll tell you the reasons why this one rocks. The part you insert into the meat flips up which means it's stores easily. So no worries about breaking it!Second- it has a MEAT chart on the side. I don't know how many times I've gone to cook meat in the oven and have to look up the cooking temperature so I absolutely love this feature! The thermometer does require batteries- so be sure to grab some of those (triple A). Otherwise GREAT thermometer!

Didn't last even 2 years
I've had this thermometer for 2 years, and can count the times I've used it on two hands. Today, after a few months of disuse, I needed it ... but it was dead. Changed the battery ... twice ... still dead.I am disappointed.

I really like this thermometer
I really like this thermometer, I have a tendency to overcook chicken because I am afraid that it won't be done....BUT...not anymore, I have used this several times and definitely recommend
