My old pieces broke so I bought a new kit. It works well.

I ordered this thinking that I would need it for my portable AC unit. Well, I didn't need it and I think it is too late to send it back. Otherwise, it would be easy to install and use in a window.

great pack for window ac/duct units

1. The long plastic plate that fits inside the other long plate was too long for a ~20" wide window. I had to cut it about halfway with a saw in order for it to fit. 2. The adapter didn't fit my A/C unit's exhaust hose, I used my own heavy-duty tape to connect them. 3. The insulation tape that came with it is really thin, I bought 1/8" thick insulating tape. There are a lot of spaces with this device. 4. Doesn't come with screws for the adapter to connect to the plate..? And even when screwed in, there's still space between the plate and the adapter. It does the job now, but all in all, it took about 3 hours to assemble/hack together. Somewhat complicated and tedious installation process for a narrow window. But at least I can open and close the window, and it seems to function as intended FWIW.

I didnt know which kind I needed to order, but this universal one works perfect with my honeywell A/C.

Fits nicely

Functions as needed. easy to put together and adjust to fit my window. Bought an AC second hand and they did not supply the window pannel or tube so this was a quick and easy fix.

Although I have the original stuff that come together along my portablr AC, the one that I ordered fits together with it. This is an amazing stuff you must check out. So instead of having just 4 you can stack more for a longer window or a door slider.
