Does this work on the G7?

Not working for me. It doesn't power my Lumix G7 and the light indicator on the adapter just blinks green when plugging in to the camera but it is solid green otherwise.

Could there be any issue with using while livestreaming hd video on a panasonic g7 (though the hdmi output)?

No problems. I use it for that reason. Works well and I've been using it for a year.

Hi, Sorry to say the battery in your camera is a different size, I own two of these, one for the GX7 and one for the GX8 and the only difference is the battery part. Guy
