I decided to make this piece after becoming obsessed with the swirling red beauty of Arizona. I love the way the orange and gold marbled with a frosty white to create something completely other-worldly. I remember thinking Antelope Canyon reminded me of Mars, which was the inspiration for this planetary hanging.
