Easy to install, perfect fit, great quality & workmanship, and the savings (easily 5X more expensive at a Toyota dealer since I called them first). My husband removed the old hood lift supports and replaced with the new ones in a matter of seconds. We've been checking on them the past week to see how that are holding up and they are absolutely perfect! In fact, my husband was so impressed with them that he asked me to order a set for his 2001 F-150 Lariet truck. Therefore, I just finished ordering his hood lift supports a few minutes ago through Amazon; making sure they were by Parts Avenue. One thing however, the shipping box could have been A LOT smaller. The box was so large that you could have easily fit 50 more of the same items in that same box. We do need to be cognizant of Mother Earth. :)

Easy installation and no issues so far

Almost paid three times as much for the, Genuine Toyota part. Was pleasently surprised to see that these are every bit as strong as the originals, very easy to install, and, a great value.

Real simple to install by yourself. And they work great. I had pictures of installing them but deleted them already posting to my page. Just as a saftey used a rod to hold the hood up while I changed the first one. Didn’t need it for the 2nd. The first one held it up just fine on it’s own. And I’m handicapped and did it with no help.Shouldn’t need to worry about rating the durability. The OEM ones lasted 14 years.
