Unique Product – Very Useful
I wish I would have found this product before purchasing the Nathan SpeedDraw. I purchased the SpeedDraw at a local running store for $35.00 and sits in the back of my dish cabinet collecting dust; while this little $8.00 band sees all of the action. The clever, no frills, design can be used with a variety of sport bottles. It’s simple and it serves its purpose, period. If you are like me, and prefer commercially bottled water, you will enjoy the fact that once your bottle is empty you can discard it (responsibly) and store the band on your wrist like a bracelet for the remainder of your run. No need to carry around an empty bottle (Yay!). I also enjoy the fact that there are no reservoirs to fill or intricate parts to clean. The band is comfortable, doesn’t pinch or chafe, and can be adjusted easily to accommodate the size of your hand. I barely notice it once I get underway. Also, considering the price I wouldn’t be too upset if I lost it and had to replace it. This little gem is my new go-to hydration gadget. I’m actually thinking of buying a few more for stocking stuffers next year.Update 2/24/16 ** I am not taking any stars away from this product because I still really like it however; I feel the need to share my recent experience. Shortly after posting this review (roughly two weeks ago) I tripped over a piece of damaged sidewalk and fell HARD. Because I was unable to release the bottle I had strapped to my hand I seriously twisted my wrist and several fingers. The part of my hand that was exposed to the pavement was skinned up pretty badly but that has since healed but I am still dealing with the effects of the twisted wrist and fingers. If you use any product that attaches to your hand be aware that in emergencies you WILL NOT be able to let go of it. You may incur an injury because of this.

Doesn't fit standard bottled water very well
This band should really be marketed for bottles over a certain size, not as a one-size-fits-all solution. Although the band is snug enough on a wide Powerade-type bottle, or on a long refillable bottle, it's too loose on a standard 16.9oz water bottle. Notice in the photo that the hand strap is very bowed out on the 16.9oz bottle, so I don't have as tight a fit as I need while running. If you always use large bottles when you run, then this band will probably work well for you. If like me you often grab a standard bottle of water as you head out the door, then this band isn't much of an improvement on just holding the bare bottle in your hand.

Horrible
Horrible. I got this for running and tried tolerating it for a few runs but gave up. The edges of the rubber are squared (not tapered/rounded) and they rubbed against the sides of my hand. It was especially worse when it was hot and I was sweaty which was 99% of the time. The weight of the 16.9oz water bottle prevented me from not grasping the bottle. I thought I could just let the bottle sort of hang while the strap kept it on my hand, but the bottle bounced around and made the friction much worse. I tried turning it so the bottle was on the top of my hand and strap in my palm and that was no better. It’s easier and more comfortable to just carry the bottle in my hand like I had been. It’s my own fault for thinking this strap would work.

Exceeded my Expectations!
I was looking for a way for me to have a handle on my 40 oz. Wide Mouth HydroFlask. I tried the Jug Lug, but that wasn't for me. I was skeptical about this BottleBand being big enough to stretch around the massive metal water bottle. It was a tight fit, but I was able to get it on. I have had it on for over a month, and I have to say that I absolutely love this bottle handle! It doesn't get in the way at all. I can either carry my bottle "briefcase style", or I find that sometimes I hold the bottle normally with my fingers going through the handle so I can have a more relaxed grip.Bottom line, don't let the simplicity of this product fool you. And if you have hesitated because you weren't sure it would fit around your oversized bottle, don't. It fits a wide array of bottle sizes, and is very useful.

I hate running with a bottle in a pouch
I hate running with a bottle in a running pouch. It sloshes around and it is uncomfortable. This bottleband makes it easy for me to hold the bottle while I run. You can let go of the bottle and the strap holds the bottle on your hand so it does not fall. Fits many size disposable bottles, as well as reusable bottles . Inexpensive and light weight. Took up no space in my suitcase when I was traveling. It comes in a variety of colors. I chose the pink. Yeah, I run like a girl. So what. I am a girl. This bottleband is exactly what I was looking for on my runs. Does the trick!

Hands down the best, minimalist hydration system
This is now my new hydration system for half marathon and full marathon training! Genius idea! Running around with a couple of pounds of water in bottles around my waist was driving me crazy. The beginning of runs were awful because of the weight of the bottles. Then the middle of the runs were awful because of the sloshing around of the half empty water bottles. I was hydrating to early and too often just to make the annoyance go away. Now with the BottleBands, I can take a 16.9 bottle or two on my runs in my hand. But unlike other hand bottles, as I begin to hydrate I can squeeze the excess air out of the bottle to minimize the sloshing. And when I have finished the water, I just throw away the bottle in the next trash bin and hook the BottleBand around my fuel belt! I wouldn't go back to the hydration belt if I were a paid sponsor!!STOP READING REVIEWS RIGHT NOW AND ORDER THE DARN THING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't worry, it fits Blender Bottles
The shipping for this product was very quick.I bought the CIRRUS Bottle band for a very specific reason. I needed something that could secure my Blender Bottle to my hand while I am out on a run.Initial impressions on Amazon had me worried about whether or not the band can stretch to fit the wide diameter of a Blender Bottle, but I was relieved to find out it can. The reason I am giving this 4 stars is because there are points in the rubber where it appears to be stretched thin, while I haven't experienced any sort of failure of the band after several weeks of use, it does make me question the quality of manufacturing.Great product so far.
