I bought this item for a homemade wind turbine! It worked great was very affordable and fully waterproof. It got my windturbine built at a fraction of the cost of a commercially available turbine! I will defiantly be buying more for future turbines in a quest to go off grid.

It seems as though this is spinning too fast? Is it? I've never seen the red brake led activate. It is charging (so 3 stars for that) but I'm afraid this is going to explode into a million pieces with our corgi close by. EEEk.
